Sen. Rand Paul (R-Kentucky) is the only major Republican likely 2016 presidential candidate who hasn't weighed in on the controversy over Indiana's "religious freedom" law that erupted this week and his explanation for avoiding the issue is questionable.

Unfortunately, this guy's father is a mega-kook...and the apple doesn't fall far from the tree.
Hey Rand Paul, we thought you was a toooaaad.....
Rand is a light in the loafer’s coward.
It’s no surprise, with his homosexual constituency and all.

Apostle Paul was a social conservative, not a libertarian.
If he voted, he would not vote as a libertarian, and he would oppose their war on Christianity and conservatism.
Sodom and Gomorrah was a place where libertarians and liberals argued about taxes, but there were almost no social conservatives, Paul would not have been voting for hookers and porn and gay marriage and abortion.

I have always thought Rand looked remarkably like Lee H. Oswald.
Rand is sticking his finger in the air to see which way the wind is blowing.

I have posted before:
Rand seems to be trying to be all things to all people. The problem with that is he ends up ‘standing’ for nothing.
I’m not a Paul supporter, but let’s at least expose Business Insider as the liberal rag that it is.
ANYONE, including you, me, the gardener, a raving Marxist lunatic and your dog can write for the execrable Business Insider.
I really wish that the Marxists at Business Insider would be given the same heave-ho at FR as Stormfront.

...Addressing the balance over passing laws that protect religious freedom verses taking into account fears that these measures will allow businesses to discriminate against gays and lesbians, Jillette said that hes personally conflicted.
I dont want to misrepresent myself as an expert, but there is more to gay sex than cake and flowers. These people are not being asked to engage in gay sex or even endorse gay sex, he said. Theyre being asked to sell flowers and cake to people.
He continued, Now, Im a libertarian and an atheist, so Im kind of fighting myself on this. I dont like the government involved in telling people what to do, and I certainly want people to have religious freedom.
That said, the magician noted his opposition to businesses refusing services to gays and lesbians.
We have to make sure we dont get too crazy in the hypotheticals. We are not talking about forcing people to engage in gay sex, he said. Its okay I suppose, although goofy to be against gays, but its not okay to be against people that simply want to use your services as a business.
“No ... the first step is to destroy them FINANCIALLY.”
First, churches that do not perform homosexual marriages will lose their tax exempt status. I’m surprised that hasn’t happened already, when the dems had both houses.
Rand Paul is a joke, just like his no-account father. He’s just younger and seems more alert, but this reach-across-the-aisle BS has been done, dude, and it produces nothing but Republican losers because the conservative base support is what gets you the door-knockers and phone-callers. Are these pols just g-d stoopit or what??
