“Duck Dynasty” star Phil Robertson has been fired from the reality program following his controversial remarks in GQ magazine regarding homosexuality.
A+E Networks, parent company of A&E, has released the following statement to Variety:
“We are extremely disappointed to have read Phil Robertson’s comments in GQ, which are based on his own personal beliefs and are not reflected in the series Duck Dynasty. His personal views in no way reflect those of A+E Networks, who have always been strong supporters and champions of the LGBT community.”
A & E obviously doesn’t have a problem with this...
An openly gay couple on A&E’s “Storage Wars: New York” is NOT offended by the homophobic comments made by fellow A&E’er and “Duck Dynasty” star Phil Robertson — telling TMZ, they just feel bad for him ... because man ass beats vagina any day of the week.
Chris Morelli and Tad Eaton tell us, “We could give a s**t what he thinks ... [man ass] is tighter.”
As we reported, Phil talked about how a vagina is more desirable than a man’s anus, and how homosexuality and bestiality are the same sin.
But Chris and Tad aren’t fazed, telling us, “You can’t go through life worrying what other people think. That’s their values and that’s what they think ... as long as they’re not nasty to people ... We’re not offended at all.”
In fact, Chris and Tad say they’re still big fans of Phil: “We like Phil. We like the show. We like the fact that they are very godly. When we watch the show and see them say grace, we feel the same way.”
As for Phil’s belief that gay people won’t go to heaven ... Chris and Tad say simply, “How does [Phil] know that? Is he God?”

“If you want Phil Robertson reinstated. The corporate number is 212-210-1400. Give them a call and tell them how you feel about this!”
A&E gives into the immoral minority 2% and fires a truthful God fearing man for speaking the truth shared by the majority of the nation and everyone who watches Duck Dynasty. Hope all the Robertson family tells A&E bye bye and hope all America turns off A&E. I am telling my cable provider to drop them as they are bigoted against Christian views and sensibilities and they discriminate against Christians.
Indeed. Besides Duck Dynasty, what other current hit show does A&E have? Before DD came along, A&E was practically drowning. I think that show saved the network.
If A&E has shareholders, they're having a total meltdown tonight. Their network is bending to the will of people who don't even support the show, and are ignoring the millions of people who do.
What a colossal blunder on their part.
One thing I wonder....
Will they censor out Phil on all of the 8 reruns they show back-to-back 3 times a week.
DD seems to hold the highest percentage of A&Es weekly programming time.

I e-mailed Cabelas. Giving out their blankets this year philanthropically and expressed that I would no longer be a customer if they advertise on a network that continues to blatantly show their bias against Christian values.

Jep essentially said the same thing, albeit more tactfully. Everyone is in such an uproar about Phil, they must have missed it.
In the interview with GQ (or whoever it was), if you read all the way to the end, you’ll see how the author tried to suck Jep into saying something he knew would cause a stir. He asked Jep if he agreed with Phil about sin. Jep’s answer was better stated without compromising his principles, but he didn’t disagree with the major point. Paraphrasing, he said he wasn’t as vocal as his Dad, but any time someone asked him, he would go straight to the Bible.
Duck Dynasty is an A&E product. Duck Commander is Robertson owned company.
