Duck Dynasty star Phil Robertson has been fired from the reality program following his controversial remarks in GQ magazine regarding homosexuality.
A+E Networks, parent company of A&E, has released the following statement to Variety:
We are extremely disappointed to have read Phil Robertsons comments in GQ, which are based on his own personal beliefs and are not reflected in the series Duck Dynasty. His personal views in no way reflect those of A+E Networks, who have always been strong supporters and champions of the LGBT community.
I guess we’re going to find out just how much the family supports each other. I hope they all stand as one and will be disappointed and saddened if they don’t.
<< This family is probably going to lose everything, and that would be a tragedy in and of itself... >>
The family was very wealthy before A&E knew who they were. Phil has a master’s degree; in fact, Si is the only one in the entire family without a college degree. There is no way they would have signed any TV contract that would or could potentially impact any future Duck/Buck Commander business. Just my opinion, of course.
I just saw that little creep and wanted to throw something through my television. Wonder what seedy bathhouse that creature crawled out of.
As I said they are all for "Free Speech" only for libs though.
Gays are the new sacred cow, even Fox is afraid of them. Also remember it was the big money from the gays in Hollywood who first started dumping money to Obama and not Hillary.
First hate-chicken, now hate-ducks. Pretty soon the homo lobby won’t have any poultry options left.
He has spoken Verboten, and must be banished!
However, teen girls smoking joints and simulating sex acts on stage still OK for prime time!
A&E is owned by Hearst Corporation and DisneyABC Television Group. Contact them and fill them in on your displeasure.
Robertson added in the interview, It seems like, to me, a vagina as a man would be more desirable than a mans anus. Thats just me. Im just thinking: Theres more there! Shes got more to offer. I mean, come on, dudes! You know what Im saying? But hey, sin: Its not logical, my man. Its just not logical.
Which part of this is controversial?
DeCrappio? LOL.
He’s so overrated it isn’t funny.
“A&E is owned by Hearst Corporation and DisneyABC Television Group”
That tells it all!
Phil was deemed Obsolete.
Once Holder gets back from his Holiday Black Panther Kwanza Rally, he will get working on the Show Trial.
First order of Business, disarm Phil. His opinions are dangerous.
Amen!
In a way, it is, but I've always been the same person I am now.
My parents may have been liberals, but they were old school, and raised me to speak the Queen's English, study hard, make something of myself, honor God and family, and to be a good patriot.
It's only their own cognitive dissonance that keeps them banded to the depraved left. I have no such problem, and left the plantation as soon as I discovered what the left really stood for.
Thanks.
He used the word “logical”.
Everyone knows only Spock can use that word.
It’s troubling that even many whites fear standing up for God and country today. We have become a nation of intellectual wimps.
Welcome, Brother, (or Sister)! Bob
Awesome. It's always a pleasure for me to hear of blacks who've broken away from the groupthink of liberal black culture. Good for them.
Thank you for the list of advertisers. The two that stand out as bizarre to me are X-Box and Grand Theft Auto. I don’t think DD viewers care about a video game that is about raping robbing and killing innocent people.
The joke is, they already finished filming the upcoming Season’s Shows.
What are they going to do, erase Phil from every shot like Stalin did when he purged his closest associates?
I e-mailed the CEO of Home Depot and expressed thanks for being a sponsor but that Home Depot must use influence to get A&E to reverse decision or I will be shopping only at Lowes in the future. His e-mail is listed below. Please be respectful, we need his help.
My wife and I dumped cable some months back and went to the ROKU box. Our annual savings is $840 and I like the programming much better than what we had before. Plus, there are no commercials. Woo hoo!
This too will be fixed in the next revolt.
