Scalia: You need 4 votes for Obama eligibility case

A lawyer lobbying the U.S. Justice Department and the U.S. Supreme Court for a review of Barack Obama's qualifications to be president says a key conservative justice has hinted that another conservative justice has been voting against hearing the dispute.

According to Orly Taitz, a California attorney working through her Defend Our Freedoms Foundation on several cases challenging Obama, said she was presented with an opportunity to ask a question of Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia yesterday.

The issue of Obama's eligibility has been raised before the Supreme Court at least four times already but has yet to be given a single hearing. Cases have been brought by Taitz, Philip Berg, Cort Wrotnowski and Leo Donofrio.

I think it has been the plan, since the young Obamassiah was at Columbia as one of Zbig's acolytes to put him in as an impostor President who could sign huge spending bills, then have his legitimacy stripped and the bills voided.

I read the article...he said you need four votes...ok. I merely pointed out that what should we take from that remark? Not much that I can see. Not trying to debate the issue because their is not enough meat in this article long on wishful thinking-this woman take donations. I would be very careful about sending her one nickel.

I used to live about 300 yards from this woman’s office. My opinion is that she is a fine and reputable individual.

I have my doubts. She encouraged active military to involve themselves in this...they will be in trouble for sure (navy brat myself). I think any money sent to her would be better spent electing conservatives. I would love to see an audit of how the money sent to her is spent.

Honestly, I’d drop the whole matter if Scalia & Co looked at it in private and stated that Bammy was eligible under the Constitution.

That’s not what the article said. We need 4 Justices to vote to send the case to oral argument. Scalia will hear it, we need 3 more Justices.

And it’s not the proper “process”, but, I’d accept a declaration signed by Roberts, Scalia, Alito, and Thomas stating that Bammy is eligible, and question it no further.

They have created debt. If that debt was not legally created, it need not be paid, even thought the “money” is spent.

The U.S. IS going to default on it’s debt. No fiat currency has ever lasted longer than 100 years and the Federal Reserve was created in 1913.

If it was up to these two men this issue would be resolved. They love the constitution!

This once proud world leader of a nation has become the discount store for politicians.

We can’t even get a legitimate president let alone a congress who has the good of the electorate on his/her
agenda.

We have sold the USA to the international community, no longer do we perform as an independent strong leadership
society - we have become what Soros and the U.N. have striven for over the decades and now have sold our nation to anyone who wishes to camp out here and take what we work to give them monthly.

I am sick of it. Two years a citizen and I have made a grave mistake and don’t know what will regain our great
status among first the people and second the rest of the world.

We have literally given away all of our best in favor of building other nations who are not our friends and who will use our own gifts against us to tear us down.

And we are without a legitimate president.... this denotes where we have fallen - a symbol of our greed and lack of attention to putting our needs first before any others.
