“Jihad, Islamism, and the United Nations”
By Jeffrey Imm
(February 1, 2008)
"Three Border Patrol agents fired shots at a pickup truck containing several suspected illegal immigrants Friday when the vehicle sped toward several agents, authorities said. Two people in the truck were injured. The pickup's driver, a suspected immigrant smuggler, and the front-seat passenger, a suspected undocumented border crosser, were taken to a hospital, said sheriff's homicide Lt. Dennis Brugos.
Police nab illegal immigrant in home invasions
"A felony conviction and subsequent deportation didnt stop Manuel Enrique Morales from crossing the border to return to Mesa, where police allege he and others terrorized victims with an assault rifle in a series of home invasions.
This time, though, the 19-year-old illegal immigrant is going to stay awhile because police jailed him and five alleged accomplices in the spree of armed robberies that span from Nov. 16-29.
Former IAP President indicted for naturalization fraud
In applying to become a U.S. citizen in 2000, Bushnaq is accused of failing to disclose his affiliations with a series of organizations that the indictment links to the Muslim Brotherhood and Hamas. The indictment clearly defines the IAP as "an overt arm of the covert organization known as the Muslim Brotherhood."
In addition, it alleges that when Bushnaq applied to become a citizen he failed to disclose:
He was the IAP's president from 1989-1991.
That he worked under the pseudonym Yaser Saleh.
He was a board of trustees member for the Al Aqsa Education Fund, "an organization that sought to raise funds for Hamas."
He was an authorized signatory for the Marzook Legal Fund, established in 1996 to support Hamas leader Mousa Abu Marzook after his arrest by U.S. authorities.
The indictment claims he also failed to disclose a 1996 trip to Iran, which had been subject to U.S. sanctions as a state sponsor of terrorism the year before. And, the indictment alleges, Bushnaq did not tell immigration officials he spent most of 1998 living and working in Saudi Arabia. That extended absence from the United States "would have disqualified the defendant from obtaining naturalization because he no longer would have been a valid legal permanent resident."
Thank you MamaDearest for that post.
May God protect and bless our border patrol.

Police trying to unlock mystery of poison in can of sardines
Police Officer 2 Joselito Gagaza, QCPD investigator, told Inquirer that the victims consumed the sardines at around 8 p.m. Tuesday inside their home. Before the incident, Regaya had asked Piad to buy seven cans of sardines from the nearby corner store.
Gagaza said that instead of cooking the sardines, the two opted for fast food. They ate the sardines straight from the can, the investigator said.
Airline helped land Cleveland drug ring
he stealth venture operated from 2004 to 2006 and may have continued well into 2007 if not for one major misstep: Southwest Airlines' corporate security noticed someone booked more than 550 flights using the same frequent-flyer account. That sent up a red flag to the airline personnel, worried about abuse of their frequent-flyer "Rapid Rewards" program.
The airline alerted federal investigators, who realized the ring was up to much more than fraud.
The group was brought down following an eight-month investigation, resulting in 24 convictions. The tale of the group's downfall is laid out in reams of plea agreements, court documents, trial testimony and interviews with federal agents.
A Mississippi-based immigration activist is appalled that potential terrorists were among a group of illegal aliens apprehended by federal agents in a sting operation along Interstate 20 in the Magnolia State.
Operation Uniforce was conducted during a two-week period this month by a special Border Patrol task force targeting I-20 because federal agents believe it is a new corridor for smugglers to ferry illegal aliens to the East Coast. A similar operation was conducted on I-10 last year at Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and Mobile, Alabama. According to the Border Patrol, greater scrutiny of the I-10 corridor prompted smugglers to move further inland to I-20 -- which is 800 miles from the Mexican border.
While most of the illegal immigrants nabbed came from Mexico, two individuals from "special interest" countries -- one Egyptian and the other a Palestinian from the West Bank -- were also apprehended. Rodney Hunt with the Mississippi Federation for Immigration Reform and Enforcement says people are concerned that terrorists are entering the U.S. across the porous border. "And I think this just shows [that] these people from these special interest countries ... [are not just] ... people coming here taking jobs from Americans, but we have potential ... terrorists," warns Hunt.
Hunt is also fearful that Mississippi's illegal alien population in general will grow dramatically because I-20 cuts right across the state. "You know one of the things I think that'll be a big problem here in Mississippi," he continues, "[is that] we'll become a sanctuary state. We already have a large illegal population probably of 120,000."
The activist believes Mississippi will have to take a more active role in dealing with the issue of illegal immigration into the state.
That’s interesting, thanks Oorang.
RAFAH, Egypt: Egyptian security forces arrested two Palestinians carrying a bomb Saturday who managed to slip through the border with the Gaza Strip and were trying to sneak further into the Sinai Peninsula, security and policy officials said.
Authorities arrested Hani Hamdan, 26, and his younger brother Rami, 21, in el-Massoura village, some 4 kilometers (2.5 miles) west of Egypt's border with Gaza, said a Sinai security official, speaking on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to talk to the media.
A police official in Cairo, speaking anonymously for the same reason, confirmed the arrests, adding that the two were trying to reach the town of el-Arish, some 35 kilometers (22 miles) from the border, and move from there into southern Sinai where several beach resorts are located.

Female Muslim medics 'disobey hygiene rules' (UK)
03/02/2008
Muslim medical students are refusing to obey hygiene rules brought in to stop the spread of deadly superbugs, because they say it is against their religion.
Women training in several hospitals in England have raised objections to removing their arm coverings in theatre and to rolling up their sleeves when washing their hands, because it is regarded as immodest in Islam.
Universities and NHS trusts fear many more will refuse to co-operate with new Department of Health guidance, introduced this month, which stipulates that all doctors must be "bare below the elbow".

You’re welcome Cindy. Only had to shovel snow twice today :-)
No one ever leaves Islam, according to a judge in Egypt who has cited Islamic religious law in rejecting a request from a Muslim convert to Christianity to be allowed to change his religious affiliation on his national identification card.
In a decision that forecasts more and more decisions being based on Shari'a, Islam's religious law, Judge Muhammad Husseini has concluded it violates the law for a Muslim to leave Islam. According to a report from Compass Direct News, the judge found that the convert, Muhammad Hegazy, "can believe whatever he wants in his heart, but on paper he can't convert."
The report said Husseini cited Article II of the Egyptian constitution, making Islamic religious law the "source" of Egyptian secular law, as the basis for his conclusion. Since Islam is the "final" and "most complete" religion, Muslims already have full freedom of religion and are not allowed to return to the "less complete" Christianity or Judaism, the ruling said.

Muslim ex-fighters in Bosnia protest govt deportations
Sunday, 3 February, 2008
ZENICA, Bosnia: Several thousand Muslim ex-fighters and their supporters protested yesterday against a Bosnian government plan to start deporting foreign volunteers who stayed in the country after the 1992-95 war.
Thousands of fighters from the Middle East and Africa arrived in Bosnia to fight alongside Bosnian Muslims against Bosnian Serbs and Bosnian Croats. Most left after the war but hundreds stayed on after marrying local women.
The protest was organised under the slogan Forgive Us, Hamza in the central town of Zenica, where most of the ex-mujahideen live, ahead of the expected deportation next week of their informal leader Imad Al Husayn, known as Abu Hamza.

Thanks, Oorang. Frightening indeed. All the more so because I’ve just returned from an evening with Brigitte Gabriel and her wonderful family. In the midst of a great Lebanese “Hafli”, complete with good food, dancing, and socializing, we talked about some of the more disconcerting things coming down the pike. One of them is a group in New York that is actively and openly recruiting for an islamic revolution in America. This group was discovered by an employee for Brigitte’s publisher who happened to walk past a group of people handing out flyers. I asked Brigitte what else I could do, and she said, “Tell everyone you can on Free Republic to join ACT (www.americancongressfortruth.org). We need people, and we need money.”
She does have a new book coming out in August, and I’m not allowed to say much about it, but she did tell me that she may need some bodyguards when it hits the shelves.
Twice?
That’s twice too much.
Please say HI to her for us, SlowBoat407.
Haven’t viewed any of these videos yet.
I can imagine what the content is.
