We've got some real challenges facing us. FR was established to fight against government corruption, overstepping, and abuse and to fight for a return to the limited constitutional government as envisioned and set forth by our founding fathers in the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution and other founding documents.
One of the biggest cases of government corruption, overstepping and abuse that I know of is its disgraceful headlong slide into a socialist hell. Our founders never intended for abortion to be the law of the land. And they never intended the Supreme Court to be a legislative body. They never intended God or religion to be written out of public life. They never intended government to be used to deny God's existence or for government to be used to force sexual perversions onto our society or into our children's education curriculum. They never intend for government to disarm the people. They never intended for government to set up sanctuary cities for illegals. They never intended government to rule over the people and or to take their earnings or private property or to deprive them of their constitutional rights to free speech, free religion, private property, due process, etc. They never intended government to seize the private property of private citizens through draconian asset forfeiture laws or laws allowing government to take private property from lawful owners to give to developers. Or to seize wealth and redistribute it to others. Or to provide government forced health insurance or government forced retirement systems.
All of the above are examples of ever expanding socialism and tyranny brought to us by liberals/liberalism.
FR fights against the liberals/Democrats in all of these areas and always will. Now if liberalism infiltrates into the Republican party and Republicans start promoting all this socialist garbage, do you think that I or FR will suddenly stop fighting against it? Do you think I'm going to bow down and accept abortionism, feminism, homosexualism, global warming, illegal alien lawbreakers, gun control, asset forfeiture, socialism, tyranny, totalitarianism, etc, etc, etc, just so some fancy New York liberal lawyer can become president from the Republican party?
Do you really expect me to do that?
I worry that once the ‘StarGate Portal’ to the presidency includes a successful mayoralship of New York City, look who’s ‘blooming’ on the horizon.
marking my spot, what a thread.
Sorry, you are wrong. The party is made up of many different factions. Conservatives are a faction who have for the most part voted for Republicans.
If Republicans lose to a Democrat, it will be because the party has chosen to cast off factions of this party.
My vote is my right to speak. To vote for a Liberal Republican takes away my right to speak up as a conservative.
Go ahead, Go for Rudy, if you lose, don't blame conservatives, blame the Republican Party.
I do tire of looking things up and they refuse to read it. They just slink off to another thread and post the same crap you just refuted!
***Yup. That’s what bugs me. Maybe JimRob could have a “put up or shut up” purge. Give fair warning that if a person doesn’t answer the substance of a post from a social liberal on this social conservative website, they risk losing their privileges. If we had something like that in place earlier, this thread would only have 40 replies, or wouldn’t even need to be posted in the first place.
Thank you! I agree.
Right behind ya.
Oh, your put aside faith long enough to vote you mean? lol
“...thank God, you, Aristotle and Darwin werent around “ - I’m not worthy of being in the company of Aristotle and Darwin, being merely a student of theirs. They are giants, and I am not. But at least I am studying.
Enjoy! Life is GOOD! :)
In the end, you've made the decision to support a liberal named Rudy Giulaini to be the GOP standard bearer. You will support a liberal for POTUS. You're on record. Thanks.
Again, very impressive. I’m sure you changed the course of medical history with that, professor.
BTW, “transmitting the torch” doesn’t sound any smarter than “passing the torch”.
Stalin, Castro, ect..had people jailed and executed routinely. The leftist philosophy you espouse is closer to them. I defended you the other day. Stop the dictatorship talk. That is flat out liberal hyperbole. These freeper liberals could go register at DU and join the fun there anytime. They aren’t that different from the crowd over there except perhaps in party affiliation. This is a privately owned forum. Nobody is telling you that you should be jailed for thumping your awful candidate here.
You want to argue for Rotten Rudy, fine. But expect return fire. Nobody will support your right to post here more than me, but be grown up about it. Stop the Stalin talk.
And those banned people were hardly intellectuals. Most of their post were three lines or less of of screaming and insults.
Ah, another Nazi reference by a liberal FReeper. And not the first time you’ve used that exact same one. Classy, real classy.
I guess your mind and heart(can’t say “soul”, that might offend you!) like to resort to hyperbole and playing the victim. Pathetic.
I wouldn’t give money to Hillary, but I obviously don’t think it is outrageous to say that you would never vote for Rudy. I might not vote for him either.
Still, whether I think it’s outrageous was not the question, it was simply if any freeper had actually said they would vote for Hillary.
This was actually important, because as you may remember, a few days ago we had a big fight over the Washington Times reporting that Rev. Land, of the Southern Baptist Convention, had said he would “vote for Hillary”.
The Rudy supporters posted it to stir up anger and hatred against him, and to smear religious people who were so “far right” that they would crazily vote for Hillary.
It turned out the reported got the story wrong (as many already told them — the pro-rudy people are quick to believe rediculous things if it advances their cause).
So I wanted to make sure that the report of freepers saying they’d vote for hillary was true. I’ve not gotten confirmation yet.
Good day, pph.
50 year.....
That'll be a first.
That's an important distinction. It seems that some of the Republicans that embraced the liberal policies of nation-building and shunned the defense of our borders were the the ones to lose.
“If Giuliani wins, nobody will fight him, the GOP will split, many people will leave the party, and his bad policies will be Republican.”
I totally agree! If Rudy is president, we lose the prolife mantle and become no better than the Democrats. I would rather see Hillary win and mount a formidable defense against her than elect Rudy and destroy the Republican party forever! We will have ceded the moral high ground.
The Republican party began to abolish slavery and our mission now must be to abolish abortion. Anything less is unacceptable!!
