Just now on his radio show...says we taken over by fringe people
300+ posts and after reading them I don't see the lunatic fringe dominating anything.
The driver of the Short Yellow Limosine is letting little Sean sit up front and make engine noises, and the 'special' leprechaun is letting that go to his unfurrowed brow!
Maybe is we started a dating service and a name-the-dog contest he'd like us better.
You are SO RIGHT ON, I am amazed how often AFTER I have read the news on FR that LATER IN THE DAY, I hear Howie, Rush AND HANITY quote verbatum the very stories WE have posted.
Face it; Free Republic IS show prep for the overwhelming majority of talk radio hosts, if you don't believe me, just do a test, in the morning read the Breaking News, Latest Articlse and Latest Posts and then listen to your favorite talk show host and make a list of how many stories you ALREADY READ on FR. DO this for one week and you will be amazed at how GREAT FR is. As for Hanity, he is just part of the "fair and ballanced" mindset over at FOX. Translation: "wack the conservatives so that the liberals won't think we are too conservative!"
One could learn a LOT from Savage.
I'm a fan of all conservative talk radio, but like baby forumula, then cereal, then real food, there are levels to it.
Start out with Hannity, then move on to Ingraham or Beck, then maybe Medved, then Savage, then Rush.
No reason to bash Hannity. His style of political talk radio may be simple to some, but it may draw in some folks who aren't sophisticated or ready enough for Rush. He could turn some D's into R's, as I'm sure he's done already.
FReepers- don't get your panties in a bunch over this. Free publicity.
Between selling his books, yakking about book signings and personal appearances, making nice with leftists and arguing ineffectively with some of them, he is pretty annoying.
I cannot stand Garafolo, but he had her on his show and he did not do very well with her the time I heard the exchange lat summer. He thinks he won by a wide margin. He is right, but there are many people who can argue more persuasively. Not me, unfortunately, but Laura Ingraham and Rush are five times better that Sean. (I would be even worse than Sean if I had the mike.)

Not that there's anything wrong with that!
LOL, This topic is on the Hannity board. Though I had the word "bump" in my post and was banned on my first post.. LMAO what a sight..
That's Mia. She's one of a kind. I can't wait for Hillary to throw her hat in the ring in '08. Mia will be hot on her trail.
That's how he gets the likes of Lanny Davis, Rangel, and other left leaning runts to come on his show.
Can't we all just get along ... and think a like too!
ok ok .. Group Hug Everyone
rolling eyes
Fringe.....I know you're out there (ooh,ooh,)
Get in here and defend yourself.
Thanks for posting Medved and others link on #225. Hannity has worn out his welcome.
ps. Good looking picture on your profile!
My favorite Hannity "dorkism's"
1) You're a great American
2) Let's be intellectually honest
3) checkmate
I agree 100%. Since I've been here I've made many new friends who I see on a rather regular basis.
I listened to most of Hannity's radio show yesterday because I was making a long drive. For hours he hyped an upcoming interview with Clinton's wacky-but-not-mean-spirited former Surgeon General Joceyln Elders.
Hannity incessantly claimed, in promoting the interview and trying to keep listeners tuned in, that "Elders will confirm everything I've been saying for years about Hillary Clinton being a phony."
I knew something was rotten in Denmark when the interview finally began and Hannity, rather than immediately beginning to explore what would have been a major scoop - getting Elders to attack Hillary - instead dredged up the deader-than-a-doorpost controversy over Elders' decade-old comment in favor of teaching kids about masturbation.
Finally, finally, Hannity got around to Hillary's alleged phoniness, and Elders categorically denied she was saying any such thing. All she said was something to the effect that voters are responsible for pushing politicians to say things they can't deliver. It was not aimed at Hillary in particular, and a million miles from Hannity's claim that "Elders will support everything we've always said about Hillary being a phony."
I really felt as if I had been tricked by Hannity into spending an extra hour or so listening to his show.
;-)
I agree. Yesterday I had to explain to someone here on FR why the term "faggot" is offensive to so many people, even to those of us who oppose gay marriage, and object to it on moral and/or religious grounds. Why does something like that even have to be explained?
Perhaps someone should ask Hannity to point to something specific, and let us have a look at it. Perhaps a community based voting system could be implemented, eg. people vote on certain messages and once it goes over a limit it automatically drops off until an admin can review it.
