Me too! Having read the thread tonight about kerry's trips to Paris after the war...I am sickened. I knew kerry was scary, now I understand exactly how dangerous he is.

It's truly frightening how little liberals care about truth. I guess it's of a piece with their maunderings about one's "personal" truth and their intellectualoids' denial of absolute truth. Perhaps their most signifcant heritage from their Communist forebears.

I take it there was a blood bath. I wasn't born yet when this was happening and I don't remember hearing alot about Vietnam in history class.

I doubt you would have heard much about the bloodbath in history class even if you were older. The left (including academia) has always been remarkably silent on it.

You make him sound almost honest. It seems to me more likely that he put in his time (like his hero, sort of), but came home to find a military background wouldn't help politically in the anti-war atmosphere of the time. So he joined Fonda et al.
