...I remember Christmas of 1968 sitting on a gunboat in Cambodia. I remember what it was like to be shot at by Vietnamese and Khmer Rouge and Cambodians, and have the president of the United States telling the American people that I was not there; the troops were not in Cambodia ...

Let us reconstruct what really happened from the information we have now>: (1)It all happened 4/30/70, it was an eve or a big communist holiday (May 1st), (2) President Nixon made a public statement on Cambodia and told the nation that there are no American troops there, (3)Kerry hated Nixon, (4) Kerry who was already discharged from the Navy got stoned with his pinko friends and his hate of Nixon "seared" in his mind as going into Cambodia on his swift boat on the only eve of a big holiday when it could happen.
Personally, I do not think that there is something very wrong there, people do get stoned and people do routinely misplace there actions in time (12/24/68 <-> 4/30/70), space (Cambodia <-> Boston) and details (fighting in Cambodia <-> whatching Nixon on TV while getting stoned).
However, Kerry did invent and he is apparently beleiving that he received his "happy hat" on this day from a CIA operative who was with on this day - this one is simply sick. This man could not be trusted with nuclear weapons.

It's Christmas Martin, let's get the hell out of Cambodia and go smear Nixon.
Hey, cut Kerry some slack! He just "mis-remembered". Yeah, Right!!!!!
Kerry is now responding to the Swifties about Cambodia by saying he was "just close to Cambodia," not actually in that country.
If that assertion were true, who would want a Comander-in-Chief would could not determine where he was in a time of war?
Doesn't matter. According to Drudge, Kerry is now saying that he was in Cambodia, multiple times, in January.
And he's revising his seared memory to January instead of Christmas.
Hey Kerry! Revise & Extend might play well in the Senate, but not in the Heartland!
It is seared, seared in my mind because some grunt dropped the hot bong right on my head!
Every time I hear Kerry say "I believe...", it reminds me of the Steve Martin bit where he goes into the "What I believe" bit. Except Steve was more believable.
So the memory wasn't "seared" into his mind, but merely "smoked" or "baked"?
Mot seared in his brain, more like slow-cooked cause his head is a crock pot.
Simple, ask Kerry's Band of Brothers supporters. The ones who support Kerry. It can't be hard for the media to find them. Kerry doesn't say he was by himself in Cambodia. Just ask them and all of this can go away.
I no longer have to worry about Kerry, Lanny, or Jeh distorting the truth.
Soon thousands of other Americans will have their own copies.

ARE WE IN CAMBODIA YET ?
Good story, LOL.
You have missed your calling. LOL!
And stoned people do get paranoid...
Has anyone noticed that he had the wrong president? Nixon was elected to his first term in November, 1968. His inauguration was in January, 1969. On Christmas eve of 1968 the president was LBJ. Duh!
Woohoo, maybe mine will be in my mailbox tonight!
I just checked Amazon and they now say shipped in 1 or 2 days instead of the 'not released yet'.
LOL! The Little Boat That Could
Kerrys Cambodian lie amounts to slander against a U.S. President. Specifically, when Kerry was in Vietnam, President Johnson was his Commander in Chief. Thats right folks! Kerry used his lie to defame his very own Commander in Chief. (the president of the United States telling the American people that I was not there)
Im pushing for Kerrys new nick name: The Cambodian Candidate.
If we can get a name like that to stick, its all over for Kerry.
The public loves a catchy nickname especially one with the ineluctable ring of truth. And the themes of secret missions and invented memories are in perfect keeping with the film, The Manchurian Candidate.
This summer, John Kerry is
The Cambodian Candidate.
Slandering soon in a public statement near you.
- Presto
