According to a Kerry campaign source, senior campaign advisers tasked two Washington-based campaign staffers to vet the recently published Unfit for Command.
"The purpose was to compare what that book had with what we had on file from Senator Kerry," says the campaign source, who said that the research project developed more than 75 instances where Kerry's recollections, previous remarks, or writings conflicted with the book's reporting.
"We took some of the most glaring examples, like the Christmas in Cambodia story, and presented them to senior staff, and we assume that those things were put in front of Senator Kerry," says the source. "We haven't heard a word about it. All we were told is that it was being taken care of."
The campaign source said that the book was not considered a "serious" problem for the campaign, because, "the media wouldn't have the nerve to come at us with this kind of stuff," says the source.
"The senior staff believes the media is committed to seeing us win this thing, and that the convention inoculated us from these kinds of stories. The senior guys really think we don't have a problem here."
At least there was an Amazon victory....the McCain statement is GONE.
the first thing I did when I saw this quote by Kerry senor staffer "Unfit not a problem, media is committed to seeing us win"....was send it to ALL FoxNews Shows.........BUMP
Looks like the Democrats are still playing pranks:

I sent them an email earlier today saying that such partisan insults are only costing them customers. I had to include an email address with my message which I really question since the form I filled out said that I would not receive a response (why do they need an email address if they have no plans to write back).
P.S. they didn't write back to notify me of the change.
You're not helping my depression. ;o)
"The senior staff believes the media is committed to seeing us win this thing, and that the convention inoculated us from these kinds of stories. The senior guys really think we don't have a problem here."
This statement should be the headline on every newspaper in the country if they were honest. The senior staff just confirmed that most major news organizations are a schill for the Democratic party. Very sKerry indeed to unwittingly admit that media news is not about facts or news at all but about furthering a political agenda. The media today is no better than the yellow journalism of the past.
"THAT deserves a table of some sort, and wide dissemination."
Yes it does. We have talked about the similarities for quite some time. It is now time to put it all together and get it out for public consumption.
"If this is true, and the media really wants Kerry in the WH, then Rush has surely been wrong about Hitlery wanting to be president in 2008."
She didn't need the election to be President while that barn yard animal was out covorting all the time. She doesn't need to be elected to be President now. Those FBI files were not taken just out of curiosity. She is using them and she is using the sKerry file. If sKerry gets elected, he will do what he is told.
I'm planning to do that in the morning. I already have the message written out.
And .. somebody needs to tell the Kerry bunch that this statement exposes that they're not "confident" their arrogant!
Ya think?
Arrogance seems to be the real policy of the Kerry campaign.
