I need help with my turn page paper on the collapse of communism

Hi! My name is John Martineu. Im 18 and a student of Dover high School in Dover Delaware. I have been assigned a final term project. We are to do a 20 page turn paper on different subjects. I am doing one on the collapse of communism. Since you coservatives know alot about this, I was wondering if you could help me out.

First Id like to know what communism is and how it is different from socialism? Second I would also like to know about why Russia collapsed. Third could you tell me why you refer to certain people such as Ann Goodman and Helen Thomas as Communists? Finally Id like to know the advatages of Captialism.

Every bit of information will help me with typing this up. Its due in a month and I hope to pass with flying colors. I might even post it on Freerepublic when it's done. Thanks alot guys

Communism is a form of government. If you look on your map, it is the predominant ideology of that country called "Rand McNally". Rand McNally is our biggest rival in the world today. They don't have armies, because a major part of Communism forbids having a military. Instead, Communism requires that they build a large laser beam to shoot at enemies and space aliens.

The main doctrine of Communism is that air conditioning is inherently evil. They also believe that people should not have to work and that dogs should be chased by cats. Helen Thomas and Ann Goodman are definitely Communists, as they openly advocate these policies. In fact, they are most likely spies sent here by the Rand McNally government.

Communists have special machines that create money, so that everyone can have enough to buy whatever they want. By doing this, Communist governments tend to have the best economies in the world, since people are not impoverished. Schools are illegal in Communist nations, as they are pointless - everyone is given lots of money even though they don't work so they don't need to go to school. That is why Communist countries are called "Worker's Paradises"!

At any rate, you ought to sign offline and go call your local travel agency and ask for plane tickets to Rand McNally, as it is VERY cheap to travel there. I'm sure you will enjoy it.

well it's just I keep hearing some conservative refer to her and Helen as communists. I was wondering what the logic is for that. I was looking at your posts and you refered to democracy now to communism now. My mother listens to her alot. I never heard her mention anything marxist or whatever. I like Sean hannity and Oriley factor better.

The searches should go fine. If someone searches a topic as broad as "communism", they can quickly dismiss this thread (although this thread DOES contain some decent resources for understanding the collapse of the Soviet Union).
