Former President Bill Clinton last week told the September 11 commission that he never admitted passing up a chance to have Osama bin Laden arrested -- even though his words were caught on tape, NewsMax.com reports.

Former Sen. Bob Kerrey, Nebraska Democrat, revealed the Clinton denial to WDAY Fargo, N.D., radio host Scott Hennen for an interview set for broadcast today, NewsMax said.

To the radio audience, (so presumably while Clinton was being questioned), Kerry claimed ignorance of what Clinton said to that New York business group. Kerry also claimed not to know there was a tape, which proved what Clinton said. "Send it to me", he told the North Dakota radio host. (Such BS!)

Unbelievably, Kerry says, Clinton told the 9-11 Committee he was "misquoted".

Then Kerry says Clinton told them he didn't remember saying it. (How can you know you were misquoted if you don't remember what you said?)

The only reason Kerrey is on the committee is because Max Cleland resigned.

Bob Kerrey once called Clinton "an unusually good liar", but he must have been taking lessons.

If Joe Democrat sees the 911 commission debating the content of this tape, Joe Democrat will wonder where it came from and why it was never discussed.

Bob Kerrey is NOT interested in being Kerry's veep. Kerrey is living it up as President of New School University, new wife, new baby, big bucks, and all those New York elites! I think he's always been starstruck, remember Linda Ronstadt. It's hilarious to see him on "Inside Actor's Studio", ga ga at James Lipton's celebrity interviews.

Kerrey wouldn't even be on this Commission if Cleland hadn't resigned. He's a glory hog, likes the limelight, and the only reason he's ever vocalized criticism of dems is because it conjers up the notion that he's independent.
