A letter to President Bush from Women for a Free Iraq:

February 27, 2003

Dear President Bush:

As women from Iraq who fled our homeland to escape persecution by Saddam Hussein’s regime, we write to offer our support for your principled leadership. We applaud your determination to disarm Saddam and your commitment to help liberate the people of Iraq. We are daughters, mothers, wives, and sisters whose families and communities have suffered for too long. We stand with you because only the United States and its allies can help the people of Iraq break free from Saddam’s 34 years of brutal rule.

Those who have taken to the streets with signs reading, “No War on Iraq” are misled. It is Saddam who has been waging war on the people of Iraq. Every day that this war continues, more of our brothers and sisters will suffer from Saddam’s totalitarian and racist policies.

Oh lysie, when I was very little, they still dyed chicks at Easter time. My parents bought me 12 of them. Yes, I said TWELVE of them. they were so cute! The ducks would be a great source of pleasure for Sarah and a great Easter present....

My college roomie and I bought purple and pink colored chicks one Easter. We kept them in a box in our dorm room until the Dean of Women was wondering the halls one day and was curious abou "that absurd noise" she heard. Oops. Good thing one of our friend's Dad was a farmer and could rescue them. They were SO cute!!!

Voting Record on Today's Partial Birth Abortion Ban, FYI

Ambulance Chaser Supreme, the spokesman for ExLax, did not vote. I guess he knew it would be unpopular to vote Nay but just couldn't bring himself to vote Yea. Chickening out on such a high-profile issue is how he speaks for the regular people?

Did you notice that only Liberman had the guts to vote on the Partial Birth Abortion Ban? All of the other so-called "presidential candidates" declined to vote!

We really need to do something about those "republican" senators from Maine - Snow and Collins. They are a disgrace. Could it be that their nay votes on this will upset the natives enough to vote them out next time?

Hello!!! I was just watching the press briefing and as I listened to the stupid questions that they throw at Ari Fleischer, I have to wonder how he doesn't burst out laughing sometimes. They ask the stupidest questions. Every single day. Over and over. They ask the same dumb questions and get the same answers.

I am thinking this: what if we, the smartest people we know, thought up some really silly questions for these dolts to ask Ari so we can see Ari laugh out loud?? Here's a couple of mine:

Q: Ari, what is the President's position regarding the chicken that crossed the road and was run over by a tractor trailer, which resulted in another senseless death of a chicken? Will the President try to get Congress to pass a law that would put these chicken-killers away for life, and if so, when would that happen? Just how many innocent, law-abiding chickens have to die before the President takes a stand on this very serious issue?"

Q: Ari, what was the President's reaction today when he heard the news that the people that live at 4003 Termite Road have not received the morning edition of their newspaper delivered 3 straight days in a row? Do you consider this an act of terrorism by other neighbors? Does he think this is a nationwide problem and if he does, what steps will he take to stop it from happening again?"
