Just another example of Trump’s big talk falling flat on it’s face. Never let the enemy up when they are down, never give them an inch, never allow them a chance to win. Terrible decision DJT. Terrible.

The IRGC is starting to fall into a civil war, between the hardliners and the so-called moderates. He’s just letting them have each other.

I will take DJTs decision making skills over all the arm chair quarterbacks here and everywhere. He has a lot more access to information on what is actually going on in Iran. Our military remains ready, and the blockade is doing a number on Iran’s finances as well as the rest of their economy. Let them stew a bit, the factions (IRGC, Military, Mullahs, Politicians) are already not unified.

Counting down to FR’s legions of Trump dead-enders showing up with comments about what a brilliant and strong move this is…..

He is playing 12-dimensional chess while the rest of the world is playing checkers. We are all just too stupid to see it. O cruel, needless misunderstanding!

The first big warning sign came a couple of days ago when I saw the report of a tanker that was fired upon AFTER it had already paid the “toll” to Iran and began sailing through the strait.

At that point, the chaos and disorder among the Iranian leadership actually started working very much in their favor.

This military campaign was a disastrous decision, but it looks like Trump isn’t as foolish as he seems with his silly rants on social media.

we’ve decapitated their leadership...

I think that makes a little difference.

Who is even speaking for them?

You can’t bomb them to hell if they don’t negotiate, if there is no one who has the authority to negotiate BECAUSE YOU’VE KILLED THEM ALL

He is starving them to death until the 3rd Carrier is there. Last report, the USS George H.W. Bush (CVN-77), will be there tomorrow, or as last as Saturday. It is hard to keep that sword in its scabbard when it is being waved.

No, it’s a brilliant move. He has Iran in chokehold until they submit.

The talk is not for you. It is for the IRGC. He is talking in their language.

No he follows a standard track he has developed. He pressures the Iranian regime. Pushing them and challenging them to come to the table. He backs off when it is evident the other side is unsure of what to do waiting for the other side to make a mistake. He keeps up the pressure in this case the blockade on Iranian ports cutting off their flow . Also other things are taking place behind the scenes, things you or I have no idea of. Time will tell.

“ Never let the enemy up when they are down”

But they’re not down. They control the outcome, and it’s hard to see what’s their incentive to let DJT off the hook.

No. Every day that we blockade their ports is one day closer to all their oil wells shutting down because they don’t have anywhere to store the oil. THAT is the ticking time bomb that the IRGC has to negotiate with.

We are maintaining a blockade, and that is not talk.

Because they cannot ship their oil, the Iranians are running out of room to store the oil they pump. When they do they have to stop pumping and water will begin to invade their wells. He is destroying their oil income and their economy with this blockade. We do not have to send our soldiers to die, the Iranian people will hopefully start to revolt, and we will track their efforts to remove debris from around their missile storage facuilities and know when to strike when we do resume bombing.

This also puts pressure on China, which relies on Iranian oil A twofer!
