The U.S. blockade of Iranian ports will continue, and the ceasefire with Iran will be extended, President Donald Trump said Tuesday, citing "serious fractures” within the Iranian regime.
“Based on the fact that the government of Iran is seriously fractured, not unexpectedly so, and, upon the request of Field Marshal Asim Munir and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif of Pakistan, we have been asked to hold our attack on the country of Iran until such time as their leaders and representatives can come up with a unified proposal,” Trump said in a post shared on Truth Social.
“I have therefore directed our military to continue the blockade and, in all other respects, remain ready and able, and will therefore extend the ceasefire until such time as their proposal is submitted and discussions are concluded, one way or the other,” he added.

LOL!!!
Exactly, Trump really doesn’t want to bomb Iran back into the stone age, he wants what most of the world wants: regime change. The more damage we do against the public infrastructure (bridges & power plants) the more we risk turning those Iranians (and there are many) against us when they are currently on our side. I trust Trump and his team, they’ve pulled off some miracles already, and if they manage to successfully get a regime change....
No. Every day that we blockade their ports is one day closer to all their oil wells shutting down because they don’t have anywhere to store the oil. THAT is the ticking time bomb that the IRGC has to negotiate with.
LOL !
Unfortunately, true.
I’m just glad the war didn’t restart.
That’s it. Living in pretense. Such a waste
The only ones who are hurt by the delay are the IRGC folks because with the blockade in place they’ve got nowhere for their oil to be stored. Their wells will have to shut down in, I think, about a week if this isn’t resolved by then. And in the meantime they’ve got no money to pay their henchmen with.
So, now it’s an open-ended ceasefire? Bad idea.
Of course, the whole notion of a ceasefire with these assholes is ridiculous.
They view an interruption in hostilities as an opportunity to restock, re-arm, regroup, and plan new strategies.
We need to keep killin’ them. Let them head off to their eternal reward...virgins and all.
The Iranians are beating Trump at the Art of the Deal.
Hey, you and I agree on something! High-five!
Some are accusing Trump of chickening out. So, the reintroduction of carrier USS Gerald R. Ford into the fray an example of chickening out? It was supposed to be in for repairs for months, and is back after one month. Doesn’t sound like chicken to me. Sounds more like honey badger don’t care.
Yeah, right.
And blowing the shit out of a country and probably killing thousands of civilians is just peachy ain’t it?
You’re a dolt.
And one last thing I would add is even though most of the world would like to see regime change, there’s alot of those same folks who just want to see Trump fail and are doing all they can through words and actions to work against him.
Maybe. Have you calmed down? Are you going to be okay?
Try giving a good argument as to what Trump is actually afraid of.
You are not qualified to decide what constitutes a good argument. Nor have you presented one. I won’t hold my breath for a logical, coherent palaver from you.
Patience is our ENEMY's game.
The muzzies have a saying Saturday first, then Sunday.
Translation is Jews first, then Christians.
Blech. Stop talking to me.
Why shoot a blind man in the face when you can flank him and smash his heels?
“ there’s alot of those same folks who just want to see Trump fail and are doing all they can through words and actions to work against him.”
Quite so. Yes.
We'll see won't we. I don't think the IRGC will fold. I think they need to be killed to a man.
LOL!!! Thanks for the update!
It took 10 years to negotiate peace with Germany after WWII.
