The U.S. blockade of Iranian ports will continue, and the ceasefire with Iran will be extended, President Donald Trump said Tuesday, citing "serious fractures” within the Iranian regime.
“Based on the fact that the government of Iran is seriously fractured, not unexpectedly so, and, upon the request of Field Marshal Asim Munir and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif of Pakistan, we have been asked to hold our attack on the country of Iran until such time as their leaders and representatives can come up with a unified proposal,” Trump said in a post shared on Truth Social.
“I have therefore directed our military to continue the blockade and, in all other respects, remain ready and able, and will therefore extend the ceasefire until such time as their proposal is submitted and discussions are concluded, one way or the other,” he added.

Until such time-— when would that be— how long? They will continue to drag their heels and posture in propaganda. We have NO one who has the power to make the decision, and a whole lot more IRGC to thin from their herd. No stopping on that effort which is not targeted from the US. So a good possibility we can carve down to someone who CAN speak for a “government” NOT of IRGC. Araghechi is probably on the chopping block since IRGC called him.... “back” (like a KGB valentine card).
Don’t let these clowns play the US anymore. Seize other vessels as per the blockade— do not back down in any fashion from that, and give them a millimeter to wiggle through. The Chi-Coms as well, Mr.President. And, DON’T go to Beijing to talk with the more devious Xi. They already have lied to us— and there is more to discover before— us Zoom. Stay secure. No need whatsoever for cameras and Tee Vee— guard against the ego needs of being “seen” vs. being deadly effective.

I will take DJTs decision making skills over all the arm chair quarterbacks here and everywhere. He has a lot more access to information on what is actually going on in Iran. Our military remains ready, and the blockade is doing a number on Iran’s finances as well as the rest of their economy. Let them stew a bit, the factions (IRGC, Military, Mullahs, Politicians) are already not unified.
Counting down to FR’s legions of Trump dead-enders showing up with comments about what a brilliant and strong move this is…..

Do you think our military couldn’t take over the Strait of Hormuz at will?
It will all break down because a naval blockade is incongruous with a “cease fire” and the Iranians, sooner or later, will reply to an USN engagement against a civilian Iranian ship.
