The U.S. blockade of Iranian ports will continue, and the ceasefire with Iran will be extended, President Donald Trump said Tuesday, citing "serious fractures” within the Iranian regime.
“Based on the fact that the government of Iran is seriously fractured, not unexpectedly so, and, upon the request of Field Marshal Asim Munir and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif of Pakistan, we have been asked to hold our attack on the country of Iran until such time as their leaders and representatives can come up with a unified proposal,” Trump said in a post shared on Truth Social.
“I have therefore directed our military to continue the blockade and, in all other respects, remain ready and able, and will therefore extend the ceasefire until such time as their proposal is submitted and discussions are concluded, one way or the other,” he added.

No he follows a standard track he has developed. He pressures the Iranian regime. Pushing them and challenging them to come to the table. He backs off when it is evident the other side is unsure of what to do waiting for the other side to make a mistake. He keeps up the pressure in this case the blockade on Iranian ports cutting off their flow . Also other things are taking place behind the scenes, things you or I have no idea of. Time will tell.

It will all break down because a naval blockade is incongruous with a “cease fire” and the Iranians, sooner or later, will reply to an USN engagement against a civilian Iranian ship....
Very posdible but even more possible is the 60 day deadline which is coming up fast. And a naval blockade cannot legally br seperated from the airstrikes because both involve military action and therefore both are subject to the same limits. Ans the use of the Spruance’s 5” gun cannot be seen as any different than the USS Charlotte’s sinking of the Iranian ship IRIS Dena. What does Trump do when thev60 days are up.?
