During the Laschamps excursion, Earth's magnetic field weakened to just 10% of its current strength, while the magnetic poles shifted dramatically away from the geographic poles...
Using advanced computer modeling, the research team reconstructed Earth's magnetosphere during five key periods of the excursion. At its peak around 40,977 years ago, Earth's protective magnetic bubble shrank dramatically – from its normal extent of 8-11 Earth radii (51,000-70,000 km) to just 2.43 Earth radii (15,498 km).
The magnetic field also transformed from a simple north-south configuration to a complex arrangement with multiple magnetic poles scattered around the planet...
The Laschamps excursion coincided with a critical period in human history – as modern [sic] humans (Homo sapiens) spread throughout Europe, Neanderthals disappeared, [sic] and humans created the first known cave art [sic]...
Modern humans also invented tailored clothing during this period, with archaeological sites containing not just hide scrapers but also sewing implements like needles and awls. This clothing would have allowed for greater mobility while providing coverage and potentially protection from increased radiation.

This could explain some things. I am not buying into the Blackstar that is nearing Earth, but this scientist ( Christian) may, I say may, have an explanation.

Look for extreme weather events to continue to happen such as flooding, high winds and very large hail. Weston says, “Winds will continue to increase all over the planet. This applies everywhere, but in the United States, we will have greater and greater winds. There will be 30, 40 and 50 mile per hour winds. . . . I am talking 30, 40 and 50 mile per hour winds that last for weeks and weeks and weeks. It will affect airflight, especially small aircraft. . . . Farmers are going to have a very difficult time planting because the winds won’t stop. With that, you will have property damage in commercial and residential. You will have roofs being compromised, trees, powerlines and hail stones will continue to get larger and larger and larger. At the crescendo, hail stones will be larger than soccer balls. Then you get into Biblical territory. When the Bible is talking about Earth changes, pestilence, famine and earthquakes in one place after another, there will be tsunamis, hurricanes and tornados. These are descriptions of Earth under stress and being transformed. It is all due to this second anomaly (Black Star) that has entered our solar system.”

We forget what a theory is and they don’t mention it. It is presented as fact. There is some evidence, enough for questions.
But we started to wear clothes to protect from radiation?

Comes from geology. Magnetic material in sedimentary and basaltic (lava) layers align themselves in the direction of the magnetic field - just like how a compass works.
The more of that you see, the stronger the field.
It’s also how they know that the direction of magnetic north has shifted over the millennia.
Requires thin slices, microscopes, and knowing the age of the material you’re dealing with.
LOL! Not sure. I’m not a great housekeeper though, and did check my refrigerator, found some auroch burgers with a sell-by date of 39,001 BC, and whaddaya know — their magnetic fields were reversed!
