A Belarusian man dubbed the world's 'most monstrous bodybuilder' has reportedly died of a heart attack aged just 36.
Illia 'Golem' Yefimchyk ate seven times a day and consumed 16,500 calories, including 108 pieces of sushi and 2.5 kilograms of steak.
Known as the '340lbs beast' and also The Mutant, he stood 6ft 1 inch tall and boasted a 61-inch chest and 25-inch biceps.
He reportedly suffered a heart attack at home on September 6, while his wife Anna performed chest compressions as she waited for the ambulance.
The bodybuilder was flown to hospital by helicopter.
'I prayed all this time, hoping that Illia would recover,' Anna told Belarusian local media.
'I spent every day by his side, hoping, and his heart started beating again for two days, but the doctor gave me the terrible news that his brain had died.'
She said after his death: 'I thank everyone for their condolences. It's very heartwarming to realise that I am not left alone in this world, and so many people have offered me help and support.'
Russian newspaper Kommersant reported: 'On September 6, the athlete suffered a heart attack and fell into a coma.'

I’ll bet he was a Twink as they come too.
>> She was jumping on his chest with both feet. Whump! Whump! Whump!
LOL! Was she barefoot? Or in heels?
I’m not saying I have stories....but I have stories (oh, I am saying it)
What did she use to perform the chest compressions? A pile-driver?!
Regards,
Hit by a bus?
Regards,
A reasonable assumption. He died of something natural. Nothing dramatic like mayhem. To me, he will always be the poster boy for the futility of extreme health measures but this latest example is certainly competitive.
I imagine Anna is really strong, seeing as she was doing chest compressions and then he had a heart attack. (Well, at least that’s how I read that sentence!)
I think it’s just egg whites and good ‘ol fashioned hard work there.
Maybe he got the vax? Maybe that’s why his heart exploded.
A firefighter friend said that survival rates are pretty poor. They would arrive to a victim and sometimes they would take over CPR, or often the person was just holding the phone waiting for them to come. They would start or continue the CPR knowing that it would be of no help, but it was protocol until a medic arrived to take over. This was in the day before defibrillators.
Yep, he looked healthy as a horse.
Incidentally his heart probably had to work as hard as a horse’s too.
For years I'd tire out easily. Then one day at work I got suddenly weak and started a cold sweat. I continued to work and finished my shift. The next day I woke up with the same feeling. I figured if after a full night's rest I felt this way I'd better get checked out. I drove myself to the VA and walked in to the Emergency room.
Turns out the Heart releases a certain compound when it's in trouble and my levels were huge! There is a blood vessel which feeds the Heart itself nicknamed 'The Widowmaker'. Mine was blocked. The only reason I can now type this is because alternator vessels had grown in to order to help. I ended up getting a triple bypass.
Somebody that a natural was probably not vaxxed.
“Somebody that a natural was probably not vaxxed.”
Belarusia had a lower vaccination rate, he probably wasn’t vaccinated.
As a side note, Belarusia had a 0.7% fatality rate from Covid, my batch of vaccine had a 1.4% fatality rate
Thank you for your post. EMS worked on him for nearly 45 minutes, then 20 more in ER with the doctor. They tried to prevent me coming into ER but I refused to be stopped. I guess they had some hope because he was so fit and only 53. I’m now fully convinced when it’s your time and the days God has given are up, that’s that. Nothing can stop the inevitable. It answers a question I used to have about why some folks who don’t take care of themselves and are so unhealthy live to be old although fit people like my husband don’t. It’s just not their time and they are stuck dealing with the poor health they caused. That said I realize some have issues not self inflicted. Those my heart truly goes out to.
Thank you for the kind words. Looking back I know the ER nurses knew he was gone based on how they looked at me in there. Yes. It was the worst day of my life having to be there alone and deal with that. I’d never been trained for CPR but did my best.
Yes. I’m getting better at not beating myself up. Took almost 5 years to get a grip on that.
I did. Thank you.
Thank you.
Thanks. I’m hearing that from others. Most of these victims don’t survive.
