A Belarusian man dubbed the world's 'most monstrous bodybuilder' has reportedly died of a heart attack aged just 36.

Illia 'Golem' Yefimchyk ate seven times a day and consumed 16,500 calories, including 108 pieces of sushi and 2.5 kilograms of steak.

Known as the '340lbs beast' and also The Mutant, he stood 6ft 1 inch tall and boasted a 61-inch chest and 25-inch biceps.

He reportedly suffered a heart attack at home on September 6, while his wife Anna performed chest compressions as she waited for the ambulance.

The bodybuilder was flown to hospital by helicopter.

'I prayed all this time, hoping that Illia would recover,' Anna told Belarusian local media.

'I spent every day by his side, hoping, and his heart started beating again for two days, but the doctor gave me the terrible news that his brain had died.'

She said after his death: 'I thank everyone for their condolences. It's very heartwarming to realise that I am not left alone in this world, and so many people have offered me help and support.'

Russian newspaper Kommersant reported: 'On September 6, the athlete suffered a heart attack and fell into a coma.'

Too much of anything, even if it’s bad, will kill you.

There use to be a fellow who rode his bike around Tucson prominently showing off his muscles by going shirtless. He died young.

There is no way you can convince me that someone can get that way without LOTS of steroids.

And we all know that abusing steroids will eventually kill you.

I always thought, some people, you’d need to be stepping on them to do chest compressions.

It’s an addiction.

When young athletes die, people here are quick to blame the vax but I think a lot if it can be blamed on the multitude of shady workout supplements that people are using these days.

He just front loaded it instead of eating consistently for 80 or 90 years.

“Well, he looked healthy.”
“He did?”

Reynoldo, you really ought to send your sarcasm detector in for a tune-up.

I guarantee you it’s steroids. MASSIVE steroids.

In the 1980s I worked out 6 days a week on a regular basis. Even at home a bit each day if I didn’t go to the gym.

It was always easy to spot the steroid guys. They grew massively.

Just before then I met the first “Christian” (quotes on purpose) I tried to date. She was into guys like that.

Yes it was an extraordinarily-bad experience meeting her.
