Recent high school graduate Suborno Isaac Bari, 12, plans to start studying math and physics at New York University in the fall, but he's already got his ambitious sights set on beginning a doctoral program.

"I hope to graduate college at 14 in spring 2026," said Suborno, who recently became the youngest graduate from his Long Island high school.

But can he do a brake job, or install that mini-split air conditioner in the picture?

Memorizing the periodic table is pointless; understanding the basis of the periodic table is what matters. Think of all the jokers who have memorized the Koran, but fail to appreciate where it leads.

The guy in question may be a really sharp cookie, but the author of the headline is likely pretty clueless.

This poor kid likely has zero social skills and after attaining several doctoral degrees, he will likely end up living in his parents basement playing play station.

More power to him. We are all created unique. I like the picture shown. It says something.

Good for him.

Not everybody is capable of graduating high school, from grade 1 in four years. However, I do think that it does show the traditional route that we do use is woefully time laden to ensure everybody graduates at the same time instead of according to their ability to take in the information.

I think everybody could learn a 1950’s curriculum by the time they were 14 years or so, leaving the ability to earn a journeyman’s ticket or bachelor diploma by the time they are 18.

I think less people would have a problem with illegals, if we did allow the good and productive ones to stay and the criminal set set back through a catapult system.

Our girls could factor selected quadratics in their heads by the age of 7. They self-taught college calculus at the age of 12. The key was reading, and using linear algebra to teach them arithmetic, solving each problem as if it was a proof with explanation of each step.

Every illegal is a criminal, by default.

You don’t even know their real name. They have no valid papers, by design.

And if we had some tea we could have tea and cake if we had some cake.

The kid is not an illegal. His parents are here legally.

I know this is just a small detail to you but other people find it important.

I agree. But I’m saying that if the good ones were given a chance and the bad ones were simply goned, more people would be receptive to being forgiving.

Oh look. Another person who is totally unable to read the story and learn that he is here legally. Because his parents are here legally.

I know you want to flood the country with illegal criminals because you want to destroy it but you could be a bit less obvious.

Based on what I know about myself, if I had been raised by parents invested in my outcome, I could have probably done grade six within two years and grade 9 in two years and high school in two years.

That’s six years and 12 years old. Possibly, I could have done it faster than that by a year if had parents who were skilled in scholastics.
