BOMBSHELL! Bud Light Parent Company, AB Inbev, is Going to be Fine. BOOM! (Vanity)
Free Republic ^ | 05.04.2023 | dware

I hate to say this, I really do, but Bud Light parent company AB Inbev is going to be just fine, even after this whole fake woman fiasco. I also hate saying that even the Conservative side has #fakenews, and the constant pounding of Bud Light by Conservative media outlets is kind of outrageous, and only serves to further rile us up.

Here's the truth:

I've been watching the AB Inbev stock since this whole thing started. As of March 31, the stock was sitting at $66, slightly under the 52 week high, $20 above the 52 week low. Since then, it has bounced between $63 - $66 per share. Today it is sitting at $65.

Have their sales suffered? Absolutely. Estimates have their losses from this around $6 or $7 billion. That may or may not be true. I've yet to find anything with substantive proof that is the case, however, but we can work with it. We'll call it $7 billion, which is certainly plausible with the size of the present boycott. Now, consider the fact that, last year, AB Inbev made $58 BILLION. Overall, they are a company worth $130 billion. At the end of the day, $7 billion will make a tidy little tax write off.

Will the stock sink at some point? It's entirely possible. If it's going to happen, I think it will happen sometime in July, when their 2nd quarter earnings report is released. Unfortunately, by that point, we will have mostly forgotten about the whole situation. We'll be too occupied by the next thing to come along. Americans have very, very short attention spans. So, while it may slump a little, it will rebound and probably fairly quickly.

Don't get me wrong, I'm no fan of Bud Light. My beef with Bud Light stems less from them putting a fake woman on a beer can, and more from the fact that it's a crappy beer. The reason I'm writing this is because I'm getting so sick and tired of #CLICKBAIT #FAKENEWS Conservative so-called "News Outlets", such as Gateway Pundit, Sean Hannity among others. It's time we do better and quit listening to these clickbait machines whose only goal is to rile us up. We got enough to be riled up about without having these individuals and websites working to rile us more with the claims they are making.

Why promise a 3x increase in marketing, send two execs away on administrative leave, and then promise more vigilance over future marketing campaigns?

The 3x marketing increase is damage control, and they have damage to control, no doubt.

They haven't fired the exec, which means at some point, she will likely return. In what capacity remains to be seen.

The promise of more vigilance is simply prudent business, especially when this campaign did the damage it did.

I never said it isn't going to damage them. I said that, in the long run, it isn't going to hurt them, even if they decided to shut the Bud Light division down completely. That's my whole point in this. It isn't going to hurt them in the long run, as these so-called conservative media outlets are claiming.

This was never about taking down AB Inbev. It was about sending a message to businesses that they should think twice about championing liberal causes. Considering their response was to put out two traditional ads shows they were spooked.

Mulvaney Light is down 26% so our point has been made and A B’s actions show the lesson has been accepted.

I think the better indication that the lesson was learned would be them firing the marketing exec that did this. Unfortunately, she is merely on leave of absence. Which means there is a possibility she will return. In what capacity remains to be seen. She could be using the time to find another job, but let's face it, what self respecting company with a goal to be successful is going to hire that twit at this point? How's that look on her resume, I wonder?

Snickering at "Mulvaney Light", btw. Lol

I’m down for that! I will be watching. The whole situation fascinates me, mostly because that marketing exec really, truly screwed up. Being in sales and marketing myself, I question how someone could be so stupid as to completely alienate all but about 3% of their customer base.

Modern young women are extremely stupid and extremely brainwashed. They are all queer friendly and see nothing wrong with it. That is their world view. They have no grasp that the vast majority of normal men see it as a sickness and a perversion and do not want it associated with them at all.

This stupid woman lived in a bubble her whole life and never really had any interaction with her brand's core customer base.

But she's not alone. There are millions of stupid ignorant "woke" women in business now.

On a related topic, there is a fellow who calls himself "Black Pigeon Speaks" that created a very well done video in which he explains why women think like they do, why it is bad for society, and why it will ultimately destroy any society in which they have any influence.

The video used to be on Youtube, but it has been banned. Last week I found a version of it on Rumble. If you haven't seen it, you really need to see it. It's very well done and informative.

I believe it is called "Why women destroy nations." And it's by "Black Pigeon Speaks."

They can't fire the stupid bitch. She's a woman in an executive position. If they get rid of the idiot, they will have the liberals all over their @$$ about discrimination against women, "Glass Ceilings" and other woke nonsense.

It's cheaper just to keep paying her and never let her have anything to do with marketing. They could simply pay her to stay home forever and come out better than letting her work or firing her.

So - let me see if I understand where you’re coming from - we should all give up, surrender, throw in the towel because -

Ambev is too big to be beaten

We can’t affect anyone because our boycotts will never do anything

Stocks aren’t being affected at all, so what’s the point

You are annoyed by some conservative sites, so we shouldn’t’t pay attention to them

Who cares that Ambev and several other major companies are supporting the gay campaign to seduce our kids - after, they aren’t your kids and maybe kids aren’t really important after all.

Have I summed up things well enough?

Another in the litany of “boycotts don’t work” stories.

Here’s a tidbit: many, self included, have shared the entire brand range of Ab InBev and aren’t buying anything of theirs. At all. Indefinitely.

Until the C-suite fears us more than they fear wokeists, they’ll do what the DEI people want, hire DEI people, contribute to their causes in shakedowns, etc. They need to be terrified of what our influencers will say, not of what Al Sharpton will say. They need to pony up for 40 Days for Life and not Planned Parenthood. Ideally they’d just make beer and shut up but those options are closed.

Or, we could love bad beer more than our families and culture, in which case buy a lot of it so you won’t see what’s coming next.

I’ll check it out. Sounds interesting. We’ve been having a discussion about the impact of women being placed in leadership roles throughout the company I work for. The biggest difference between men and women when it comes to the way they think is that women think with their emotions. They are fruit loop friendly because they don’t see eventual outcome through logic and analysis. They see it through emotion. That’s generalizing quite a bit, but yeah, I’ll see about finding that video.

I think the better indication that the lesson was learned would be them firing the marketing exec that did this.

They absolutely cannot do that. They would provoke a "Justice" department investigation for discrimination. It would provoke a massive media outcry and all the screeching harpies on Television would be all over them. Liberals would then be working to drive down sales even further.

You can't get rid of these affirmative action hires.

She could be using the time to find another job, but let's face it, what self respecting company with a goal to be successful is going to hire that twit at this point? How's that look on her resume, I wonder?

She won't need another job. InBev will be paying her till she gets tired of "working" for them.

No doubt about it. But I can control what I do and I USED to drink a few types of AB beers. No more. Period.

It is an excellent and eye opening video. It contains historical examples, and the man who put it together has thought out his argument very well.

It's banned on Youtube, but you can see rebuttals to that video still up on YouTube.

Bud light is a minuscule amount of revenue to the larger parent company.

And most grown ups weren’t drinking it anyway.

It will go the way of Tab and Zima.

So even more people probably “switched” to those brands.

Dollar-wise, you might be right. But the prestige of being #1 in sales replaced by Modelo Especial?

While Bud Light is still the best-selling beer brand in the country, if parent company Anheuser-Busch can't reverse the decline in sales, 'then Bud Light is in serious trouble this year,' industry expert Bump Williams told the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.

Yes. The point is we are just itching for the next Budweiser Whack-a-Woke-Mole. The next company, go ahead and show yourself. The sleeper hold is coming on the woke grip.

But I removed all AB beer from my restaurant.

Good friend of mine is a slightly left of center veteran and liquor store owner. I asked him how sales were. His response was, "Well, this store has never been known for its Bud Light sales to begin with, but I do have plans to pull down the Bud Light neon in the window and will be replacing it with other stuff."

And good on you for removing it. I am thankful to all those like yourself that have done exactly that.
