You really seem envious of others working hard and making a living. If you would spend more time doing something constructive, and less time demonizing others who are doing constructive things that customers are asking for, you wouldn't have so much time to be critical.
I have had a successful career, and I'm still working through retirement; not in the internet content business. I create custom software solutions. Somebody is willing to pay for my efforts. That is capitalism.

Yeah, I’m still around (thanks for asking!), but got so far behind that I had to give up. I abandoned the last 3 threads, and hardly even know what’s going on in the world any more! I finally returned to work, for the first time since the plandemic. Would you believe my mostly “woke” colleagues seem to assume that I’m jabbed and probably even boostered (they never asked, so I never had to comment), and that I’m back now only because I finally “feel safe enough”? If they only knew... 🤣 😂 As short a season as it is, it’s intense and demanding, as is the rest of my life right now. I’ve had so little time to spend online at all lately!

There is a lot to be said for my relatively isolated lifestyle. Minor inconveniences aside, I feel very safe.

I feel really bad for this man.
Before anybody flips out at me, I took care of patients like this for 40 years. What they have done to him, in order to win that seat is not only unspeakably cruel, it is inhumane.
My Dad had a stroke four years before he passed, and it totally zombified him at first. His brain had to be coaxed to re-wire itself (a total lay person’s description! LOL) It took my brother and me several months of daily stimulation to get him out of the Memory Care center. We earned a reputation, we practically lived in that place, while most of the residents got weekly visits, at best. Dad got scheduled therapy, but my brother and I could use specific things, subjects and memories that were familiar parts of his life to more effectively trigger that brain of his into new re-connections. It was a large labor of love, but ultimately successful. Dad never decided to learn to get up and walk again, though, because he was physically lazy, and preferred to spend his spare time sitting, reading books - history, science, geography. He always loved to learn new things.
