SCIENTISTS SAY ORGANISMS TRAPPED IN THIS ANCIENT ROCK MAY STILL BE ALIVE

We don’t wanna freak you out, but West Virginian scientists may have found a life form more than 800 million years old.

In a new paper published in the journal Geology, West Virginia University geologists say that some of the microorganisms found inside the Browne Formation, an 830 million-year-old rock found in the Australian desert, may still be alive — and if they are, it could help us find life on Mars, to boot.

Taking a piece of the Browne Formation, which includes halite salt crystals, the WVU researchers found organic liquids and solids using non-invasive optical techniques. Within those substances, they then found single-celled organisms known as prokaryotes, which have been discovered in the past to survive hundreds of millions of years when trapped inside salt crystals like the one inside that particular ancient rock.

The prokaryotes probably have more to fear from us than we do from them.

After all, we’ve had 800 million years more to evolve ways to kill them than they’ve had kill us.

Start off right. The microorganisms have a right to equity. The microorganisms are not required to adhere to social power norms or constructs. Do not label or culturally appropriate them.

Trans microorganisms.. scientists are cautiously coming to the understanding they are the Very God.

Though they haven’t declared their gender yet they should be able to complete in women’s sports.

$40,000,000,000 would be a weak start.. but a start.

It’s only a clump of cells. Kill it.

The same people who would kill a preborn baby would probably fight like hell to save these oranisms.

Perhaps it’s Schrödinger’s cat.

Heisenberg probably slept there.

The very premise of this thriller novel:

Spoiler: it wasn't a smart move.

Search for life on Mars…

What kind of life?

Beneficial or hostile? These prokaryotes are a bacteria with two main examples being E Coli and Cyanobacteria.

E Coli not so good and Cyanobacteria being positive & negative.

Positive in that Cyanobacteria played a big part in oxidizing Earth in presence of water. Negative in that Cyanobacteria produces the toxin cyanotoxin.

In other news, it was found that dinosaurs became extinct due to a microorganism that made them zombies. Dinosaur scientists were able to trap the microorganisms in rock but it was too late for the.

That was my thought. And: Do they miss the other prokaryotes that they were separated from when the specimen was obtained?

I keep trying to think of a reply to this post and still have nothing.

But, ya know, humans would still try to find these living organisms on another planet even if we were 99% sure it would mean the end of all life on Earth as we know it. Science, the double-edged sword.
