An anti-parasitic head lice drug available around the world has been found to kill COVID-19 in the lab within 48 hours.
A Monash University-led study has shown a single dose of the drug Ivermectin could stop the SARS-CoV-2 virus growing in cell culture.
'We found that even a single dose could essentially remove all viral RNA (effectively removed all genetic material of the virus) by 48 hours and that even at 24 hours there was a really significant reduction in it,' Monash Biomedicine Discovery Institute's Dr Kylie Wagstaff said on Friday.
While it's not known how Ivermectin works on the virus, the drug likely stops the virus dampening the host cells' ability to clear it.
The next step is for scientists to determine the correct human dosage, to make sure the level used in vitro is safe for humans.

We use this on our alpacas for worming. I inject it. There has been a time or two when the animal has zigged and I have zagged - and I got some of it in my hand.
No ill effects from it...but I’m not about to dose myself purposely with a drug for veterinary use.
Can the FDA or the drug manufacturers sell it for $500 per injection? If so, it’ll be readily available by Tuesday.

This is magic cure #10. All we have to do is wait for 18 months when everyone is dead for it to be approved, which begs the question, which would be easiest to get a cure out? Die while waiting for the unelected beuracracy of the FDA to approve something, or kill everyone one of the FDA muthaphuckers and just start trying stuff? What do you want to bet that they are all using Trump drugs with a Zinc chaser?

Don’t know if it is still the case, but the cost for the early canine heartworm pills was inflated by a factor of 2x or more because the company was sending an equal amount of medication to Africa for treatment of the worms that caused blindness in the Africans who were roaming around barefoot.
