It's the final film in the Skywalker saga that concludes the nine-film epic space opera.
And critics were full of praise for Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker as they revealed their initial reactions to seeing the film at the Los Angeles premiere on Monday night.
While Disney has embargoed full reviews until Wednesday, those inside the three cinemas screening the film were so delighted they took to Twitter to give their spoiler-free thoughts on the film on Tuesday.

if only it will be the ‘CONCLUSION’ of this hideous series.....................
I enjoyed the first two.
They lost me when they brought in those Teddy Bears.
The last movie ( or two or five) we’re so painfully bad I just don’t see how I can ever watch another Star Wars movie.
So everybody dies?
This is fake news. The paid shill media is trying to blunt the disaster up front.
Advance word is terrible, and has been for months.

Is Jar Jar Binks in it?
I wont go unless theres lots of Jar Jar.
Make believe is big business. Whether you work for the film industry, or the commies (which in some circles is the same thing).
Don’t trust anything until after a few days and real people (not shills and bought-and-paid=for corporate media) weigh in.
They’re trying to desperately polish a turd.
They lost me when Disney bought the franchise. The first one they made was a turd and I havent been back since.
If you are thinking of giving Disney another dollar, don't. They are an evil company and they need to take a financial beating to steer them back on a better course.
Maybe by “satisfying conclusion” they mean Jar Jar is run through a wood chipper.
They set the bar really low with the last one.
In the last one, the fight of good vs evil didn’t matter because the universe was going to balance things out no matter what.
In the next one, I wouldn’t be surprised to find them encouraging evil so that good could manifest.
I would rather have evil Jar Jar gun down the Mary Sue and her entire crew.
I guess I haven’t kept up with Star Wars, since Phantom Menace came out, so I wouldn’t even know who Mary Sue is.
What assurances do we have that this new offering, Star Wars Episode 9, The Rise of Skywalker, is truly the end of our misery?
I mean, Disney can still crank out an Episode 10 in a decade or so, and call it "The Fall of Skywalker..."
Or I mean, Disney can still crank out an Episode 10 in a decade or so, and call it “The Beginning of the Fall of Skywalker...”, then “The Middle of the Fall of Skywalker...”
Love those guys.
