The last movie ( or two or five) we’re so painfully bad I just don’t see how I can ever watch another Star Wars movie.
So everybody dies?
This is fake news. The paid shill media is trying to blunt the disaster up front.
Advance word is terrible, and has been for months.

I won’t go unless there’s lots of Jar Jar.
Make believe is big business. Whether you work for the film industry, or the commies (which in some circles is the same thing).
Don’t trust anything until after a few days and real people (not shills and bought-and-paid=for corporate media) weigh in.
They’re trying to desperately polish a turd.
They lost me when Disney bought the franchise. The first one they made was a turd and I haven’t been back since.
If you are thinking of giving Disney another dollar, don't. They are an evil company and they need to take a financial beating to steer them back on a better course.
They set the bar really low with the last one.
In the last one, the fight of good vs evil didn’t matter because the universe was going to balance things out no matter what.
In the next one, I wouldn’t be surprised to find them encouraging evil so that good could manifest.
What assurances do we have that this new offering, Star Wars Episode 9, The Rise of Skywalker, is truly the end of our misery?
I mean, Disney can still crank out an Episode 10 in a decade or so, and call it "The Fall of Skywalker..."

For me, there is only the (original*) Original Trilogy. I saw the prequels twice though and do not care if I see them again. I saw The Force Awakens and thought it was basically a remake of the original Star Wars film. I still have not watched The Last Jedi and will probably skip this new one. I guess I'm turned off from the whole "the Force is female" thing.
* I watch Harmy's despecialized versions in which Lucas' digital "improvements" have been eliminated.
Regardless if it's true, this will spread like a wildfire and this review will dominate the discussion.

I saw “The Force Awakens” on pay per view. I liked it. Especially the end where the girl walks up that hill and the guy in the hooded cape turns out to be Luke Skywalker. Yeah, you kinda expected it - but it was still cool.
But I still haven’t seen “The Last Jedi”. I’m not gonna see “The Rise of Skywalker” ‘til I’ve seen “The Last Jedi”.

I saw the first two theater movies, choked on the third, and gagged on the 4th(and it was not Jar-Far-Binks that did it.)
Haven’t watched one since.
Did they add the horrid Ewok made-for-TV movies to this list?
