==============================================================

Eating chicken puts consumers at a higher risk of a rare form of blood cancer, non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, as well as prostate cancer in men, according to researchers from Oxford University.

The research involved tracking 475,000 middle-aged Britons over a period of eight years between 2006 and 2014.

Their diets were analysed alongside the diseases and illnesses they suffered with.

Around 23,000 of them developed cancer.

'Poultry intake was positively associated with risk for malignant melanoma, prostate cancer and non-Hodgkin's lymphoma', according to the paper published in the Journal of Epidemiology and Community Health.

Nice story to read while I eat my grilled chicken salad.
The story should be “Eating, causes cancer”

Eggs causes cancer, wait, no they don’t.
Coffee causes cancer, wait, no it doesn’t.
Chocolate causes cancer, wait, no it doesn’t.

You get the idea.

Most likely funded by beef and pork producers. And brought to you with the same rigorous ethical standards as climate researchers warning of the terrors of climate change.

“The thing you eat, drink, breathe, use, or like causes cancer” study No. 10,000,000.

Coming later, “The thing you eat, drink, breathe, use, or like that we told you would cause cancer, doesn’t, in fact, cause cancer after all and might be good for you” study No. 10,000,000.

Pork isn’t supposed to be good for you either, yet I consume it at regular intervals.

It’s all in the preparation, folks. Human beings are omnivores, so they may get their nutritional needs met in a wide variety of ways, and not simply by limiting one or another item in the diet.

Dr. Gundry says that Chicken has high levels of lectins in the meat due to what they are fed, and that these lectins cause leaky gut syndrome leading to inflammation in any of many forms.

“Poultry cures cancer!” will be next month’s headline, citing some reasonable sounding multi-organizational study name.

With red meat off limits and now this report about chicken, that long pig is starting to look good.

George Carlin was right:

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-100825/Eating-vegetables-seriously-damage-health.html

". . . the cancer may be triggered in some people when the saliva they swallow meets the acidic juices in the stomach. Saliva plays a vital role in converting nitrates into carcinogens, or cancer-causing chemicals."

Fruits and vegetables supposedly cause cancer, too.

So, we're all going to have to starve to death.

According to all the lawyer ads I’m seeing on TV, non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma is only caused by Roundup, and I could win million’s of $$$ if I file with them.

Guess this is a good reason to “Eat Mor Chikin”.

NOT funded by beef producers.

10,000 times more likely it was funded by a group of attorneys who are setting up to sue Chick-fil-A and Kentucky Fried Chicken

Yet another worthless rubbish study. You can be sure no notice was taken of the exact form and preparation of the poultry. A crappy, chemical-laden highly-processed McNugget is unfit for human consumption. It may not even be “poultry.” Chicken parts fried in highly processed seed oils isn’t much better. A properly raised organic chicken is very nutritious, from the skin right down to its giblets, especially if the carcass is later used to make “Jewish penicillin” — homemade stock.

I’m looking for the actual paper. The article states non-Hodgkins lymphoma is one of the cancers linked. But NHL has a variety of sub-groups. NHL isn’t all that rare. Certain types of NHL are rare.
