Too often as I read commentary on this and other blog site, I notice a sense gloom and doom. Some try to disguise it as snarky comments. But what may surprise you is that our opponents are the minority. We out number them, and have more power. The only reason we don’t see it is because they have organized and are continuing. We for the most part, have not. So here’s a little anecdotal information that may convince some of you that all is not lost.

Go elect a pro-2nd amendment, constitutional sheriff in your county. That will give the legal and armed muscle to defeat leftists in your community.
Since you already insulted me, I’ll take a chance on a compassionate reply and say I wrote in Ted Cruz, a man who once was liked a little better than Hillary.
But do you not realize that what you really did was cast a vote for Hillary? Ted Cruz was not going to win, thus you wasted your vote, and in the process took away a vote from Donald J. Trump.
I'm sorry that interpreted my question as insulting you, that was not my intention. However, I was right even if you did not actually cast your vote for Hillary. Instead of thinking of this as an insult, think of this as a learning moment.
I voted for both John McCain & Romney, even though I could not stand either one, because a vote for someone else (who had no chance of winning), or sitting out the election was tantamount to voting for Barack Obama, something I could not allow myself to do.
The ones I’ve seen had to do with keeping his name off the primary ballot, which wouldn’t make much difference as the nominee is picked at the convention. So it would be just a gesture of contempt, and that’s leftism for you.
I thought so, too, but I’m pledging to ignore rants.

A blog site is a one-to-many communications mechanism; a forum is many-to-many COMMUNITY.

The biggest problem is a lack of good candidates who want to run.

As for a learning experience, at 67 I try to continue learning. No one can possess all all knowledge, so there is no one that can't learn something new. Now you have learned that a protest vote only aides the opposition. Hey at least you didn't vote for Evan McMullin, LOL.
It is not doom and gloom for conscious conservatives who have been paying attention for more than half a century. It is a dispassionately realistic assessment of the situation, not a Pollyanna Pie-In-The-Sky fantasy.
There are emphatically not more of us in the halls of power: academia, media, bureaucracy.
The Frankfurt School has promulgated their infiltration efficiently and effectively for nearly a century, while conservatives have mostly minded their own business in the private sector.
The more people like you resort to glibly disrespectful name calling, the more you expose yourselves as shallow and unaware - like cocky adolescents who think they are so much wiser than adults.
I would bet that I have done more to promote real conservatism in the real world, going back to my teens, both in and out of Christian ministry, than either of you.
Democrats are trying every trick in the book - and then some... But my guess is anything contested will wind up in court - and if it goes far enough it’ll go to the Supreme Court.
