I still like Ted Cruz, and I was for him at the beginning. I even snickered and made jokes when Donald J. Trump announced his candidacy. However, when I saw Donald Trump in action I said this is the man we need. Ted Cruz would have wilted by now, if he were electable, but he wasn't. Support was not there beyond the very conservative of our base.

But do you not realize that what you really did was cast a vote for Hillary? Ted Cruz was not going to win, thus you wasted your vote, and in the process took away a vote from Donald J. Trump.

I'm sorry that interpreted my question as insulting you, that was not my intention. However, I was right even if you did not actually cast your vote for Hillary. Instead of thinking of this as an insult, think of this as a learning moment.

I voted for both John McCain & Romney, even though I could not stand either one, because a vote for someone else (who had no chance of winning), or sitting out the election was tantamount to voting for Barack Obama, something I could not allow myself to do.
