Got a bad one for you. This is personal as I have epilepsy as well. Never had a grand mal and I pray to God I never have one, but it’s still epilepsy.
What’s that line about nothing can be made better with the presence of police?
yeay cause a guy laying on the floor with his arm behind his head smiling is in deep physical trouble and not just being a d..k
funny why the tape isn’t shown fluidly.
I have MANY issues with law enforcement. This ain’t one of them.
Are police given ANY training on how to deal with people having medical or psychological problems?
Stupid and nasty cops serve only to give good cops a bad name. Theres probably not enough information here to make a call as to whether the initial cop reacted appropriately.
Oh and lastly, drop the full auto weapons and military gear and training. The police are not warriors but they are being trained like there are. It's not a bit surprising they see everyone as a "threat" first and a citizen second.
Well. Looks like your attempt to smear the cops with your personal agenda didnt go too well.

Our problem is less with the police than with their political bosses, the Doug Neidermeiers of the world who have taken us into the dangerous netherworld of a POLICE STATE! Be afraid. BE VERY AFRAID.
I failed to include our late friend, Phoenix officer JACK McLAMB. A patriot to the end, Jack “Officer Friendly” was what EVERY COP should aspire to be! Rest in a richly deserved peace, friend.

I can see why Officer 'Bubba-ette' joined in to help subdue the 'perpetrator'. Seeing another cop wrestling with someone on the ground, it was her responsibility to assist the other Barney. In her defense, even if she acknowledged the call was about a 'seizure victim', she would not neccessarily know if the 'perp' was the same victim, so I would give her a 'pass' on jumping into the fray. That said, kneeing him several times was too much, in my opinion.
I guess the moral of the story is, always obey a cop, even if it is physically impossible for you to do so!
LEO’s flat scare me - was pulled over one time and all the cop wanted was want a date took personal info from my DL/registration; told my folks and kept a lookout should he ever show up. He never did, but ...
My sister has epilepsy. I have seen her in the postical state following a seizure. In this state she appeared to be alert and conscious but was actually thoroughly confused as to what was going on around her and even who she was. It lasted several minutes then she slowly returned to normal. That is most likely where this guy was when the police showed up.
Postictal state is an abnormal condition that lasts for a period that begins when a seizure subsides and ends when the patient returns to baseline.

Is it now against the law to have an epileptic seizure? How much force is reasonable to arrest an epileptic?
Perhaps you need to become a police officer so you can mete out correct justice. I can’t tell anything by this video, and what are we not seeing? Being a policeman is a low-paying thankless job. Damned if you do, damned if you don’t. Doesn’t mean that all policemen are correct in every situation, but then no one I ever met is without mistakes. But it certainly is easy to sit back and criticize.
