Krispy came to Minneapolis about 15 years ago. Long lines. They were all gone a few years later.

Same in Stockbridge Georgia last year.

When Krispy Kreme came to Connecticut, the local radio station visited the line.
And in line they gave out free cups of coffee and donuts to those waiting. It was pretty funny.

Blech. Dry and grainy.
Southerners don’t know how to bake.
Neither do Northerners, but at least Dunkin’ is better.
I REALLY miss our local German bakeries. THEY know how to bake real junk food.

Asked on recent Irish politics I guess people think crispy cream was giving out free birth control and abortions.

Someone must have told them they were serving a free whisky with every dozen donuts sold.

Krispies blow, as do Dunkies. You have to go to a local independent / small chain to get a decent donut. Here in Phoenix we have BoSa, which is awesome!!

It seems like KK has engineered the absolute maximum amount of air and minimum amount of dough needed to keep the donut from flattening under the weight of the glaze.
Give me a donut with some body.

I am a do-”nut”. Meaning I could never pass by a donut without desiring to eat it. The one exception is a Krispy Kreme donut. They are greasy and tasteless. Never understood the popularity. Oh well....to each his own I guess.

The people complaining about Krispy Kreme clearly think all donuts should be cake donuts with decorations on them. Not so. A fresh hot Krispy Kreme is a delight, very light and fluffy, not overly sweet at all, the only really sweet thing there is the light glaze. But, if you’ve just got to have your cake donut, try the Krispy Kreme crullers, particularly the blueberry ones. Other than special holiday donuts, they don’t have little sprinkles and sparklies on them though, so if you’ve just got to have that I guess you’ll have to go someplace else.

Do they have a shop on every corner selling expensive giant cupcakes, with a pound of frosting, in 50 flavors yet? They are all around us. If not, it could be a good investment over there.
