The main source in the Times article was a former Pentagon employee named Luis Elizondo, who ran a small program called Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification from 2007 until.... 2012.... Elizondos account was vouched for by the man whod arranged for its funding, former Senate majority leader Harry Reid, as well as by the billionaire donor who won the contract to manage the program, Robert Bigelow.
...
The program produced documents that describe sightings of aircraft that seemed to move at very high velocities with no visible signs of propulsion, or that hovered with no apparent means of lift, ... The company modified buildings in Las Vegas for the storage of metal alloys and other materials that Mr. Elizondo and program contractors said had been recovered from unidentified aerial phenomena. In addition, researchers also studied people who said that they had experienced physical effects from encounters with the objects and examined them for physiological changes.
The straightforward presentation of these assertions implies that the authors believe them to be true. But they beg for elaboration. Were the produced documents credible? In what way were the buildings modified, and why was it necessary to modify them in order to store this material? What does it mean for an object to be associated with a phenomenon? What were the claimed physical effects, and were any physiological changes found?
Making portentous assertions out of context is a powerful technique for creating a sense of mystery and drama. Leaving a question unanswered implies that it is unanswerable. Selectively omitting key details can make a mundane fact seem uncanny. These techniques are..... better suited to Ancient Aliens than the pages of the New York Times because the net effect is to cloud rather than illuminate key issues. In this case: What exactly did Elizondos team uncover?

Frankly, I’m too lazy to re-read them and try to figure that out.
No biggy. We both know that feeling. LOL.
Some are and some are not.
Here is another point.
Does anyone truly believe the US Government completely abandoned our space program? I for one do not believe we have. I believe the space shuttle program was scuttled because we have found other ways to explore outer space. Where that technology came from is unclear but I would like to think that it will come to light shortly.
Given Q’s relative working around the craft ... he knew the Shuttle program was a farce from the beginning. He was furious at the waste of money and lives—e.g. when the Challenger blew apart.
I know what I saw when I was 5 or 6 years old. As clear today as it was then, Long story.
An alien butt probe is going to show up at your house and teach you a lesson. ;-) Happy New Year.
The anal probe is going to inject nanites and control your mind. Your new favorite band: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Y5cqcR3Bd0

...
It was nothing but a kickback to corrupt Harry’s pal. The billionaire had funds to pay for such “research” on his own. Instead he personally profited from it.
I spent 2 days reading the paperback in a book store about 25 years ago. Up to page 90 or so now. The eyes aren't what they used to be.
Why aliens are so interested in our asses is beyond me. Everyone moon the sky when the ball drops. Maybe they will leave us alone. Hehehehehe.
Yeah, I am an AnarcicCapialisticLiberetarianIdioticJackHoleKeker. Reeeeeeeeee. Bring me some tendies mom. Wouldn’t fit as a screen name. LTGM I am. ;-) It fit. Exactly. Not a letter more or less.
Weaponized autists are the new nukes.

Damned keyboard. some keys stick or or are less responsive. The V and C got pop spilled on them. Grrrrr.
The UFO issue was settled in 1951 or 52, google ufo Washington DC 1951 or 1951....
I think it is possible the reid graft job with bigelow was about to be exposed.....so they be trying to create legit cause so there are voracious defenders of program.
What about release of movie bout the Pentagon papers? Fake news tie in?
So where are results of studies of metals obtained? And humans effected? Is pilot (fravor...spelling?) off his rocker?..since people can.uncritically accept almost anything is this fact being utilized to create some red herring for some other thing going on?
Remember in 1996 how they found evidence life on mars (from a meteorite found in antartica)during election time and time for authorizing refunding of NASA?
....so where are the timely real world visuals of ufo and little space creatures done in completely PUBLIC venues for All to see? Putup or shutup.
Whether this Reid program is real or not, you can bet that there is a program somewhere that is real and is doing all the things claimed. Perhaps a clever way to discredit the whole idea and allow things to continue in the black programs unwatched and unnoticed.

Eight percenter here. Its a way for well-credentialed people to hint (claims with out any demonstrable hard evidence) to the public that something other than the status quo is going on without saying exactly what, while maintaining the cover of unbelievably for all those who are terrified of change or anything different.
This method also serves to obscure claims by highly reputable people of the widespread use of Zero Point Propulsion vehicles (aka UFOs, alien reconstruction vehicles - ARVs), the physics involved, and extremely detailed schematics. The more unbelievable it sounds, the easier it is to conceal. Why investigate something that is ‘obviously unbelievable’? Dismiss and move on after smearing the messenger. Secret kept.
Fear. Naked fear. Reality means worldview crash, worldview crash means psychotic episode, psychotic episode means loss of everything including family. FEAR.
What do you think that turd shaped asteroid was that came from interstellar space and whipped around the sun?

What do you think of the second one found?
Frankly, Im too lazy to re-read them and try to figure that out

Frankly, the alien was too lazy to make sure you were dead before he ate you ...:)

Wishful thinking. The US government in general has no more idea than you do - its a matter of need to know on which basis even the President can be excluded.
According to some, A) the tech has been around for a very, very long time, B) will come to light never.
Never: because it would mean the end of fossil fuels for power, of autos and planes for mobility, of distance because it would become irrelevant as would notions of speed and time.
Too many oxen gored all at once.
And that’s not even counting the effects of any ‘aliens’.
