There is something in Astronomy called the
Roche limit. Earth would have been ripped to rocky chunks long before it got to withen 418 miles.

I would be worried it could tip over and capsize.
Good point. It’s a miracle that Guam is still upright. :)

Did you say “Watts”?
Watts is 450 miles from Santa Rosa.
Jupiter is 450 miles from Savannah.
Or as Tina Fay would put it: “I can see Russia from Jupiter.”

Maybe we go to Guam and see it before the island turns over.
They shifted people to the west side of the island so it’s okay.

Lester Holt is two inches from Uranus. Another stain on their already spotty record.

If 99.9% of all scientists say we are 415 miles from Jupiter then it’s a fact!
Go ahead, deny that.

Beside high tide being about 1000 thousand feet, you do not even want to know about crustal deformation, basalt floods, earthquakes, and radiation. Otherwise all is fine.

Whoops!
Lester Holt Says Jupiter Only 415 Miles From Earth Has anyone contacted Cher?
Trump may not be able to move heaven (well, maybe, we'll see?) but he's apparently been able to move Jupiter.
Babe, got your bags packed? Better hurry! It may not be this close again for a lo-oong time.

I don't know if it's as close as 415 miles, but it does seem to be a lot closer than usual. Here's a photo I just took of it from my backyard. That's apparently one of its moons in the front of it.

Cut him some slack, he obviously meant to say 415 light years.
