Need Serious Help.

To make a long story short.... as a child, my brother saw a demon outside our window (back then you had to have the tv by a window because of heat generated). He saw this demon "dancing" around our window. He has been plagued w/ nothing but horror.

Now, in these days, he has over come his demons; however, his first born son has seen this demon, a few months ago, outside his window. His first born son described to him ( at first reluctant that he would not be believed) the same thing my brother saw as a child. My brother was stunned.

We need help. I truly believe in satan and his demons to be as real as we are. What can we do? Who do we turn to?

Some may see this as nonsense, but we are living this in real life. Can anyone help us or at least lead us to someone who can help?

I don't want to dismiss your concern, but you have to rule that out first. Many mentally ill have religious fixations or attribute auditory or visual hallucinations to ideas they can understand.

Unless mental illness is telepathic, that's not realistic.

This guy's son described the same thing he saw. That gives it a LOT of legitimacy in my book.

I'm presuming that the father never shared with him what he saw. There's no other way for the son to know it unless he saw it too.

Yes- vain repetition will cure all.

But I will pray for your family.

>> The father and son saw the same apparition ...

Just throwing out some alternatives to the prevailing demon theories.

My point was that they all belong to the Committee for Skeptical Inquiry, a group of pests who go around and insult anyone who believes in God or the supernatural or the paranormal.

And don’t get me wrong. I think Uri Geller is a total fraud. If he could really bend spoons and all that, he wouldn’t need to keep suing his critics.

There's also Frankincense and Myhr (sp?) I tend to use anything that I have that is mentioned in the Bible. I now grow those herbs in my garden figuring that since I've grown and tended to them they contain my spirit and would be more powerful, for me, when I used them.

I also use sea salt to sprinkle around my property and house.

Ok but Randi is not a pest (is he still alive?) he debunked people like Geller who were preying on people.

"Those are some calm and reasonable suggestions. However . . . they ASSUME, it seems to me, that the adults AND the child involved have 0.000000000000000000000000000000000000000% spiritual sensitivity and discernment. I don’t assume that, at all."

Who gave you the authority to assume how others perceive NoGrayZone's family's spirituality? Why are you attacking those who gave suggestions? Why are you lifting yourself above all others, up on a pedestal? Where has anyone said that she is not spiritual? May I suggest lowering the dosage of ego.

I know if I was going through a difficult situation as NoGrayZone is, I would listen to the most obvious mundane suggestion. Maybe that one silly suggestion is something that may have slipped my mind doing during strenuous times.

Right now NoGrayZone has an added chore of sifting the wheat from the chaff suggestions. God will lead her to the right one. The one that will bring Peace to her family.

What’s the chances that there’s a curse on your family?

Explanation? Maybe Jung was right about the collective unconsciousness impressing itself on the land. And, in the same vein, maybe Christianity - and other religions - are right about malevolent forces which interfere with humanity.

There's a pastor who claims that what Jung referred to as that really was demons, but since it was not fashionable at the time to claim that, he renamed them.

Satan doesn’t fear Jesus. You might recall a certain temptation in the wilderness? If Jesus were the son of God, if not that, as Jew he would have recognized him as “The Accuser”, a servant or agent of God.

You're right. I never thought of it that way. He must obey Him, though.

However, accounts in the gospels seem to indicate that the lesser demons fear Jesus.

When I was about 12 yrs old I attended a prayer session in a private home. There were over 30 churchmembers there praying for a young girl who was only a couple years older than I. During the session I saw three balls of light come out of her body and escape through the windows. I believe those were demons.

Interesting. What became of the girl? Is she, perchance, foreign minister of an albeit deliberately diminished superpower?

It is usually useless to get into dialogues with them. They are usually deceptive and seductive and love to lead folks on wild goose chases and into convoluted confusions.

That sounds eerily familiar.....

How does anyone really know what a demon looks like outside of those depicted in movies, art & books. We just imagine what they look like....They are fallen Powers and Principalities, are they described in the bible? Or is what we see what we think we see and not real....just dont know....

The problem is that Satan can appear as an angel of light.

I'd say, though, that it's a safe guess that anything you see that is not material or an optical illusion, is satanic.

At least, I'd err on the side of caution and presume that until solidly convinced otherwise.

Two little kids seeing “something” a generation apart? This is not the basis for a panic, and that is as informed and reasonable astatement as all the advice from “paranormal investigators” and the like on here.

Two children seeing apparently the same thing years apart is beyond creepy.

Satan doesn’t fear Jesus.

Wrong.

Satan was a created being spoken into existance by God (Jesus). God/Jesus defeated Satan on the cross when he took our punishment to give us salvation.

Satan hates, and fears, Jesus.

We’re not talking a about a 14 year old, not an 8 year old, not even a 5 year old! A 4 year old is barely removed from crawling and babbling.

....Now let’s hear all the defenses of why the testimony of a 4 year old child must be beieved. I can’t wait.

More removed from crawling and babbling than you realize.

My son was speaking, not babbling or baby talk, full, grammatically complete sentences, by the time he was two. Any adult could carry on a conversation with him and get intelligent, mature responses.

It blew me away what kind of reasoning power, powers of observation, and abstract thinking a child that age can have. People don't expect a lot out of kids that age and the kids live up to, or down to, those expectations.

I realize that many kids that age can have active imaginations, but when the boy described something that he knew nothing about and the father immediately recognized it, that gives it a LOT of credibility to me.

How many four year olds have you interacted with personally? Do you have kids of your own? You talk like someone who has very experience with children. Those of us who've dealt with them know better.

Both of my children could speak in complete grammatically correct sentences when they were two. One was reading at four. I never talked down to them, and read them many books.

Babbling?

Crawling?
