Anyhow, in the process of cleaning out boxes, it came to me....the questions that we all ask ourselves as we uncover chunks of our long lost past.....
What WAS I thinking!?!
So, my questions to all of you are:
What hobby or interest did you have when you were younger that you still have a passion for?
Ok, now....is there something you used to do that you now think "I can't believe I used to like that!"
Same with music---
What was your favorite band/song in highschool, then early adulthood compared to now? (Those still in early adulthood have only 2 questions to answer. Or maybe just one ;))
Is there anything in your interests, hobbies or life that would surprise people who know you? (Nothing weird, just.....) And if it invovles being on wanted posters, you can skip the question :)
Yep, frankly that was the only time I really enjoyed fishing. It can be terribly boring at times. So can hunting, been twice deer hunting, nothing yet. Obviously you enjoy fishing (I envy you being on the water), have you experienced hunting deer yet, I hope you've had better luck than I have!! I think the deer laugh when they see me coming.
"Funny, you are still typing in English"
It's an effort. Trust me!
LOL!
I'm not THAT old either. However, I am not driven anymore, if you know what I mean. I want a more relaxed life style. Since I am a widow, I do as I please. I want to travel some, enjoy my family, meet new people; but I still want to be at home for a great deal of the time. I am a homebody at heart I guess. I just like the simple life most of the time.
It's OK...we don't have to talk... ;-)
Sometimes you have to have lots of patience.
I'm the same with deer hunting. Never was able to sit on a stand all day long. I have to get down after 4 or 5 hours.
About time you got here! LOL! I am late and trying to catch up.
One tequila...
Two tequila...
Three tequila...
FLOOR!
:-)
LOL! Know that one all too well! Thankfully, I've gained wisdom in my later years (I'm just waiting for my later years)
I saw it. A tear jerker. Loved it, though.
What would we do?
hunting? I prefer to watch the deer. I have been around the hunters, and deer all my life, have eaten deer, but never attempted to shoot one. I would rather take pictures of them.
Fishing can be boring, unless you're with the right guy.
I could think of a few things...but we've already been sent to our rooms! ;-)
Evening, Goodgirl!!
Make mine a mango margarita. I had one in Key West and I am hooked!
"I could think of a few things...but we've already been sent to our rooms! ;-)"
Our rooms, plural? Well, that's no fun. I thought we were sent to our ROOM.
These are good occupations!
I am a homebody at heart I guess. I just like the simple life most of the time.
Yep, me too. I don't think there's anything wrong with that. I kinda like my life. Sure, I'd be happy if there was a man here but I'm not going to jump over hoops to make that happen. I think we both know we could, and many women do, can't do the "life without a man thing". Haha, my dad tried to tell me "a woman needs a man". Sure, but I think less than a man needs a woman! I would be happy (very happy!) to have a man, but I've known many women who will take any man and have come up considerably short in the deal. I am holding out for a good man. I think there are plenty but I also want one that has similar interests. That narrows it down considerably!
OK. On mango margarita for goodgirl!
Room. Not rooms! I guess my typing isn't the best right now...I'm somehow distracted tonight, can't really tell why...
