Guess who's hosting this edition of the singles thread!?! Scary, ain't it folks.
Anyhow, in the process of cleaning out boxes, it came to me....the questions that we all ask ourselves as we uncover chunks of our long lost past.....
What WAS I thinking!?!
So, my questions to all of you are:
What hobby or interest did you have when you were younger that you still have a passion for?
Ok, now....is there something you used to do that you now think "I can't believe I used to like that!"
Same with music---
What was your favorite band/song in highschool, then early adulthood compared to now? (Those still in early adulthood have only 2 questions to answer. Or maybe just one ;))
Is there anything in your interests, hobbies or life that would surprise people who know you? (Nothing weird, just.....) And if it invovles being on wanted posters, you can skip the question :)

Sorry the curse of the eastern time zone has gotten to you. You are just a pup at 41, I am 46....last couple guys I've dated have been 39 and 42. Seems I'm quite able to keep up with you youngins. And yet no pictures from you... that's ok. Keep posting. It still appears we have much in common.

Hi. Many of your old favorite bands are some of my favorites too.
My sister and her family live in Brunswick, GA. Where are you from?

Oh, I hunt also. Although not nearly as much the past couple of years. Have plenty of guns - not enough, though.
I haven't fished in several years, though. Thinking about going more this spring/summer.

Secondly, I guess the"honeymoon period" of this job is over. Today the boss REALLY rubbed me the wrong way, several times.
It started when my sinuses started acting up a bit, and I coughed a couple of times, when he was speaking spanish gibberish over the phone, to a customer.
His carping about me not being able to control my coughing and such, put my nerves on edge, and so they soon flared up too, and I coughed even more, as we loaded a big screen tv set.
Sorry to hear that. My sinuses have been acting up this week, I think I have/had a weak cold, went out in the cold to take hte trash out without a coat, stupid me. B-P Lots of weird stuff have been going around at work, sicknesswise, some of us have been out this week and with work picking up with closing and such, I was doing my job as well as the other person's. Thank God invoices have been light this week but we might get slammed next week.
A bit later, I want to a customers house with him. My sinuses and nerves were fine. We were checking out a tv set, where the Picture tube was weak, and I had "boosted it" about a month ago. Now, it is totally bad. I let him know this, after checking out the set. The customer heard me. BUT, It seems that he had told the customer that we put a NEW tube in last month, and it had failed, ans now, since his service contract was expired, he was SOOL. But then, he decided to "make it right"out of fear of a complaint to CC about the matter, which would expose the lie) and we took the set in to REALLY replace the tube. Well, he got mad at ME for saying that the tube was bad.. How was I supposed to know he had lied to the customer before, I was just being honest. By now, I felt, and SAID, "I should had stayed home today". He then tried to smooth things over but a bit later, got into a rant about how I should "try to be more hip, , go with the flow more, and change with the times". I repeatedly told him not to worry about what I do away from work, as long as I do my job, but he continued, with the "I'm just trying to help you" shit. THIS, COMING FROM A KERRY SUPPORTER, WHO IS GOING TO SEE SPRINGER TAKE ON HANNITY TOMORROW NIGHT!!
Oops.... I hate when that happens and much more so when there is lieing involved. If that was my business or if I worked for him, I'd feel like a horse's butt saying we put in a new tube in and did not. I always hate that, "try to be more hip."
He's for Springer, huh? Jerry Springer makes Dennis Kucinich look sane and intelligent.
BTW, Hannity is coming here first tomorrow then he goes to Cinci. I hope Hannity kicks Springer's butt, then agian, I think my tiny 18 year old calico cat could kick his butt too. I would love to go but I need to take care of some things plus the Exploder is in the shop and Mom needs the car for work so the only way I can get around now is "feets don't fail me now." B-) If I hit the Ohio Lottery, I'll get my 1977 Mercury Cougar back on the road, I'd use that as my backup car. Wouldn't mind a Vespa or any scooter either. B-) Then I get home........ and I see that one of the sharks here, has followed me over to CM, where my screenname is NOT the same, and "kept tabs" on what I was dong there, and then, came back here, and criticized me for bad grammar, OVER SOMETHING I SPOKE ABOUT ON CM!!!!!!
Ugh, somehow I hear the song from Styx, "Too Much Time On My Hands" when I think of people like that. As Ernest from the movies ("Ernest Saves CHristmas and so on) would say, "knowhutimean, Vern?"
SO, needeless to say, I am not a happy camper right now.....In fact, I would like to kick someone in the nuts!!!
Been there myself, believe me, I hear ya.

Beauregard, I'm late joining in, but I have to disagree with ozark.... and I just have to say she doesn't get it. Out on the water, fishing, nothing like it, whether its the river, a lake, a pond, deep sea, whatever. Nothing beats fishing, and coooking and eating your catch. Communing with nature on the water. Its a religious experience. Only thing better is camping, primitive or luxurious, doesn't matter. I'm always ready for it. Just be sure there is food and beer, and a fire at night, or candles.... I have hunted. I love the woods, nature and all, and I eat the game, but, fishing is the best
