The work week is over. Ended and Past
It is time to open your heart and soul
To the splendid beauty around you at last
The soothing color and quiet of the sky
Beckons a presence greater than you or I
Untouched by clouds to catch the eye
Above a sea wide and tranquil and still
The heart is moved by what Man cannot create
While a faded and bleached white Sanctuary
Tempts you closer to open the gate
To offer thoughts too profound to relate
The time is yours to spend and ponder
The mystery that is your life and wonder
There were others before not much different than you
Who built this Sanctuary under a sky of blue

Steamed Chocolate Pudding - ADAM & FIONA, THE BLOCK
Serving size: Serves 2
Cooking time: Less than 60 minutes
The molds used in this recipe are the size of a small dessert bowl and need to be able to fit in the steamer.
INGREDIENTS:
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
¼ cup sugar
100ml milk
1 beaten egg
1 cup self raising flour
pinch of salt
2 tablespoons cocoa powder
for the custard sauce:
2 tablespoons custard powder
2 tablespoons sugar
1 cup of milk
2 drops of vanilla essence
METHOD:
Put water in large steamer saucepan and bring to the boil. Grease the molds. Cut foil to fit on top of the molds.
Creme the margarine and sugar. Stir in the milk and beaten egg.
Sift flour, salt and cocoa together into a mixing bowl. Stir into mixture.
Scoop mixture into the molds. Pierce holes in top of foil and steam for about 30mins.
Blend custard powder and sugar with a little bit of milk. Bring remainder of milk to boil and then add to mixture and stir well. Return saucepan to heat and bring back to the boil, simmering for two minutes stirring continuously. Add vanilla essence and stir through.
Serve chocolate puddings with custard sauce and garnish with strawberries, whipped King Island cream, grated chocolate and or chocolate wafers.
Have a Happy Chocolate Pudding Day!

Hi everyone.
Sorry to hear about your puter problems, Amy. I know the feeling last year I was having awful troubles with my puter all the time. I know yours is a bit different because it involves your satellite and fotki. Hope they solve the problem soon.
Happy Chocolate Pudding Day, all.
I love chocolate pudding. :-)

So glad to hear that. I was just going to ask you about your campaign. I think you got a good chance there, Mayor.
I was just reading a bit before making dinner. I still have to get ready for tomorrow's class, but I should be back a bit later.
To: Victoria Delsoul
Thanks Victoria, we are having a big effect here in Erie County.
Albany is next..

I say, "Enough on food." I'm getting fat on all these eclairs, puddings and parfaits.
To change the subject, here's an e-mail just in that I can't use except to share:
Signs of Menopause
1. You sell your home heating system at a yard sale.
2. Your husband jokes that instead of buying a wood stove, he is using you to heat the family room this winter. Rather than just saying you are not amused, you shoot him.
3. You have to write post-it notes with your kids' names on them.
4. The Phenobarbital dose that wiped out the Heaven's Gate Cult gives you four hours of decent rest.
5. You change your underwear after every sneeze.
6. You're on so much estrogen that you take your Brownie troop on a field trip to Chippendale's.

Actually, my last e-mail was meant for everyone, not just Victoria, so here's another e-mail just in today. It's my second chance.
Deer Tick Warning!
We will soon be coming into the Summer, so BEWARE !!!! I hate it when
people forward bogus warnings...but this one is real, and it's important.
So please send this warning to everyone on your e-mail list:
If someone comes to your front door saying they are conducting a
survey on deer ticks and asks you to take your clothes off and dance
around with your arms up, WARNING: DO NOT DO IT!! IT IS A SCAM.
They only want to see you naked.
I wish I'd gotten this yesterday. I feel so stupid now.
