Oh that is so cool! I love DC! You are going to have so much fun! Have you gotten your tickets to the White house already? You should write ahead to purchase a flag that has been flown over the capital on one of the days of your trip as a souvenir. I am so excited for you Jen! What neat trip.

I bought Marissa ballerina slippers for bedroom slippers. If I can't find anything else, she will wear her sneakers and change into her slippers when we get there.
If I can't find anything for myself, I may do the same. ;)

I love to wear heels since I am so short! But after a few hours I can't stand being in them any more - SO... I'm going to carry my slippers with me and I will wear them at the Ball! hahahaha Hubby thinks I'm nuts, but FReepers will understand their significance, besides the comfort.

We've requested tickets for the inauguration, but I don't think the White House is giving tours during that time. Haven't heard anything yet about the tickets, though some other FReepers have already received tickets! Waaaaaaaaaahhh! Cool idea about the flag! I'll look into that.
