I like to write too but I have had too many distractions as of late. Limmericks are even beyond my focus right now.

Earth Walk
Read: John 1:11-18
The Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory. John 1:14
Bible In One Year: Amos 7-9; Revelation 8
After the Apollo XV mission, Colonel James Irwin related some of the high points of his experience. He told of their weightless bodies floating free in the space capsule, the rising crescent of the earth as seen from the moon, and the triumphal splashdown before a watching world.
Irwin also spoke of the impact the experience had on his spiritual life. He said that from the lunar surface he sensed both the glory of God and the plight of earthbound man. As he came back to earth, he realized he couldn't content himself with being merely a celebrity. He would have to be a servant, telling his fellowman of a better way to live. Irwin concluded by saying that if we think it a great event to go to the moon, how much greater is the wonder that God came to earth in the person of Jesus Christ!
Because man walked on the moon, science and technology have made tremendous advances. But because God walked on earth, we know both our origin and our destiny. We can know our Creator personally (John 1:1,14,18), and we can live in His light (v.9). Through Jesus' sinless life and sacrificial death, we can know the joy of having our sins forgiven and experience the fullness of an abundant lifeall because God walked on the earth. Mart De Haan
Down from His glory, ever-living story,
My God and Savior came, and Jesus was His name.
Born in a manger, to His own a stranger,
A Man of sorrows, tears, and agony. Booth-Clibborn
God made His home with us so that we might make our home with God.

Yikes!
His name wouldn't happen to be Rob Sweeney would it?
We had Sweeney as a post master for awhile where I live.
He behaved like that.
He'd also read your mail, hold your magazines for three months until 'finding them' after he was done reading them, and throw out mail he didn't think you should have.
He had a nervous breakdown and ended up being sent elsewhere.

Are you a postman or woman? I've never had trouble with them before. Everyone has always been nice to me throughout the years. This man yesterday was actually kinda nice until I asked him for RR stamps....our relationship took a dramatic turn for the worse once he started talking smack about President Reagan. Grrrrrr.... I don't see how it's necessary to say mean things about a product you are going to sell to a customer who is interested.
Liberals don't understand how I could care less who they vote for or how they feel. Just don't talk to me about it. Why do they feel a need to be so rude and hostile? Whatever happened to keeping things to yourself?
To: JustAmy

Libs feel it necessary to ridicule those they see as being 'uneducated' and 'ignorant' for not agreeing with them.
They need to constantly affirm in their own minds how superior they are to everyone else, to the point of making that goal primo facto in their existence.

Wow. That's worth keeping. Do I have to give you credit for saying that? :)
To: SpookBrat

*thinks abut it*
Isn't that one of the signs of the Apocalypse?
;-)
Credit me if you wish, but it may cause some to wonder where it comes from since I'm usually posting insane ramblings. :)
