C'mon now, y'all know I don't cook. I have my *one* "impress-the-girls" meal of chicken and shrimp fettucine alfredo. Other than that, if I can't zap it, I ain't fixin' it.Okay, okay, okay...You cook the chicken and shrimp fettucine alfredo, I'll cook the salsa and caramel apples, then we can all meet at the bistro to share. :-) (I do think PAL needs to bring a dish to share though...)
To: PreviouslyA-Lurker
SLURP! Thank you!
I think maybe even I can make these. : )

Hey T.S., what is it that you fix for the most beautiful little girl in the world when she stays with you?
Do we need to get you a cookbook?
So the menu consists of chicken and shrimp alfredo, salsa, and caramel apples? My white chili should fit right in...
(Most of my cooking consists of heating something frozen in a box in the microwave too.)

Will you be cleaning the pans afterward too?
We may need a recipe for that too!

Will you be cleaning the pans afterward too? HA! I'll let you make the apples AND do the clean-up. That's fair, I think. LOL

Haven't you been paying attention? We're all going to T.S.'s backyard bistro for chicken and shrimp alfredo, salsa, caramel apples, and white chili!

Please pray for my coworker (Kelly), her daughter, her 2 and 1/2 day old grand-daughter (Xalaya - pronounce ZahLAYuh), and her grand-daughter's father. Baby Xalaya was discovered to have liver problems when they were checking her out before releasing her. She was taken to Children's Mercy Hospital this morning where they are doing tests and want to do surgery.
Thank you for your prayers.

Prayers for Xalaya. My niece had some liver problems when she was born a few months ago... I hope this little one has the same outcome as my family's little one did. She is now fine.

Haven't you been paying attention?Oooops! Sorry! I've had my wolf suit on over at the Finest today, the wimmin can't get enough of wolfie. (Don't be tellin' 'em I said that.)
The only thing I would partake of would be the apples, I really don't care for the rest of the menu. Could you make it 'fried' chicken? : )
To: ST.LOUIE1; Tragically Single
Ask T.S. about the chicken, he says his recipe impresses the wimmin...

How sad, a little tyke having problems so young in life. She'll surely be in my prayers.
God's blessings on baby Xalaya and family.
To: PreviouslyA-Lurker
I bet they're made right there in Carmel, California.

Dear Father, please place baby Xalaya in Your loving hands and grant her the healing that she needs. Please give strength to her parents and grandparents to see them through the stress and worry of this ordeal. Give guidance to baby Xalaya's doctors throughout her treatments so that she gets the very best of care.
We ask these favors as your humble and contrite servants in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, Amen

So many nights, I'd sit by my window,
Waiting for someone to sing me his song.
So many dreams, I kept deep inside me,
Alone in the dark, but now you've come along.
And you light up my life,
You give me hope, to carry on.
You light up my days
And fill my nights with song.
Rollin' at sea, adrift on the waters
Could it be finally, I'm turning for home
Finally a chance to say, "Hey, I Love You"
Never again to be all alone.
And you light up my life,
You give me hope, to carry on.
You light up my days
And fill my nights with song.
You, You light up my life
You give me hope to carry on
You light up my days
And fill my nights with song
It can't be wrong, when it feels so right
'Cause you, you light up my life.

Hey T.S., what is it that you fix for the most beautiful little girl in the world when she stays with you? Mercifully, my daughter's not picky. She likes cheesy mac, hot dogs, and chicken fingers. :)
