Holding onto skewer, dip apples into melted caramel, coating evenly, and roll in nuts if desired. Place on waxed paper to cool. Makes 6.

Woooo! I decided to be bad and get McDonald's for lunch today (I'm usually cheap and bring my own lunch). But I wont a $1 best buy buck from the monopoly game. Too bad I don't need anything from Best Buy...

I don't think I've eaten anything from Micky D's for over a year (woops!, no, went in late to work the other day and splurged on fish sandwiches). I have THOUGHT about their breakfast burrito, though.

I rarely eat McD's anymore. But I didn't feel like making anything, I was running late, and I had a craving for a fish sandwich. So...I'll just have to be *extra* good for the next week at least. LOL!

BTW - I've even cut back on Cheetos! :-(

Do you miss the crunch?

If so, eat fresh crunchy fruits (apples) or vegetables.

I eat a lot of carrots...they're orange and crunchy. Just not cheesy.

Every once in a while I'll get those baked doritos or baked lays. But I just can't eat the plain baked lays chips - they gotta have something on them.

I can eat them with salsa. Or else I get the barbeque baked lays.

My hubby makes a yummy salsa(?) out of fresh tomatoes, onion, cilantro, and lime juice.

I bet T.S. has a good recipe at his backyard bistro...

C'mon now, y'all know I don't cook. I have my *one* "impress-the-girls" meal of chicken and shrimp fettucine alfredo. Other than that, if I can't zap it, I ain't fixin' it.
