That's how it sounds when the
British say it. Since a lot of people immigrated here from Great Britain, it carried forth with a large part of the population and was passed down through the generations. I myself say it that way. I also say Washington as Warshington, and I am not alone there either. Seems that is the way they pronounced it in Pa., where both my parents grew up. I say it just like
tipit & mstakagi says it. I always say it's because that is where they declare wars. 8>)
My pet peeve is people who spell lose as loose, and I see that quite often. 8>)

You can also go to a Buc-ee’s in Alabama, and soon two places in Florida and one in Georgia.

One thing he did not mention was the fantastic restrooms. He obviously could not bring a camera into the restrooms but Buc-cees is world famous for the cleanest public restrooms in the world.
Clean. Cleaner than the bathroom in your home.

I didn’t see a Firearm Sales area in the Video.
I assume they have one, after all it is Texas.
To: Fai Mao
Now I want to go to Buc-ees again! There are two within 20 miles of me on the east side of Dallas, which is wonderful.
To: Kickass Conservative
About the only thing theyre missing is firearm sales. My family makes it a point to stop at least once every time were driving inTexas. Food is more expensive than Costco, but the restrooms are cleaner

Cool! Ive never been but Ill add it to my Grand Tour of Texas... heh--I'm involved in that also. I've made 5 stops before my job shut us down. Now I've got to fill out all sorts of paperwork if I leave our greater metro area, so I'm waiting until that is over before I continue.
I am planning a multi-day trip that should complete about 25 stops.

Yeah, I noticed that. Buc-ee’s has some pretty decent food as he mentioned, but of the three things that make it distinctive, he missed two (clean restrooms and jerky selection).
To: ShadowAce
paperwork? What kind of paperwork? I’m waiting on my grand daughter to make up her mind what she wants to do which would mean a trip to Jacksonville,FL but otherwise it’s a “Grand Tour of Texas” through the hill country to far West Texas up to the Panhandle and back through East Texas and that’s just kinfolks so far.
