Jay McKinnon, a self-described Department of Homeland Security-trained document specialist, has implicated himself in the production of fraudulent Hawaii birth certificate images similar to the one endorsed as genuine by the Barack Obama campaign, and appearing on the same blog entry where the supposedly authentic document appears.
The evidence of forgery and manipulation of images of official documents, triggered by Israel Insider's revelation of the collection of Hawaii birth certificate images on the Photobucket site and the detective work of independent investigative journalists and imaging professionals in the three weeks since the publication of the images, implicate the Daily Kos, an extreme left blog site, and the Obama campaign, in misleading the public with official-looking but manipulated document images of doubtful provenance.
The perceived unreliability of the image has provoked petitions and widespread demands for Obama to submit for objective inspection the paper versions of the "birth certificate" he claimed in his book Dreams from My Father was in his possession, as well as the paper version of the Certificate of Live Birth for which the image on the Daily Kos and the Obama "Fight the Smears" website was supposedly generated.
Without a valid birth certificate, Obama cannot prove he fulfills the "natural born citizen" requirement of the Constitution, throwing into doubt his eligibility to run for President.
McKinnon, who says he is 25-30 years old, operates a website called OpenDNA.com and uses the OpenDNA screen name on various web sites and blogs, including his comments and diary on The Daily Kos. In recent years he has divided his time between Long Beach, California and Vancouver, British Columbia. He is a Democratic political activist, frequent contributor to the left wing Daily Kos blog, and a fervent Barack Obama supporter.

“You are libeling Stanley Ann by saying you think she’s too stupid to figure out how to get her and her new husband off to visit his parents.”
What an asinine comment. You are the one calling her a felon and fraud artist who lies on Govt forms. I said nothing of her character good or bad, its just that the reality - that Barack Obama was born in Honolulu, is far more simple and expected than this bizarre trip-to-Africa theory that has more holes in it than swiss cheese. I think it is anything *but* stupid for an 18 yearold pregnant college girl to do the expected thing and stay put in Honolulu to have her baby. A jaunt half-way round the world would be incredibly ill-advised for a near-term woman, stupendously expensive, and amazingly gratuitous. It would be further incredible that this amazing trip would have ZERO record in any of barack’s family’s mind. No pictures or postcards, no word from Grandma to Barack to later put in his bio, of how his Mom connected with the Africa side. Nope! She secretly jetted off, had a baby came back and its the huge family secret kept from everyone except intrepid outsiders like you.
I am merely saying this: Things that have no real record of happening didnt happen.
It’s not too hard of a rule to follow.
“The plan was visit the folks over the summer, and be back in time for the joys of childbirth. Then the airlines blocked it. What now?”
And your invented scenario has what evidence to back it up? ...
You keep making up fantasy scenarios that are not based in reality.
Occam’s Razor. Try using it, your shaggy dog stories are getting too shaggy.
So Stanley Ann had compelling reasons to not leave the USA, according to you.
Nevertheless, the PROPER reading of that statute is that Barack Obama was a natural born US citizen *even if*:
- his Mom was not married, AND
- he was born overseas (Kenya, Moscow, North Pole, etc.)
The physically present rule was more than satisfied since Stanley Ann Dunham grew up in the US. Which blows your whole “He’s not a natural born citizen if born in Kenya” theory up in smoke.
To wit: “However, the 1934 Statute permitted either the father or mother to transmit U.S. citizenship. This was construed as also authorizing the transmission of citizenship to an illegitimate child born abroad on or after May 24, 1934 to a U.S. citizen mother. “
Obama is a natural-born US citizen.
Not because he was born in Honolulu Hawaii (even though that is where he was born).
And not because his Mom was married (they supposedly were 6 months prior).
But simply because the 1952 and 1934 statutes tranmitted citizenship through a US citizen mother, even if born overseas.
Game over. Barack’s eligible to be President, with 100% certainty, no matter WHERE he is born.
“her critical thinking skills were already suspect”
Once again we see folks who dont know the first thing about this woman plumbing the depths of her character, all to feed a boneheaded false conspiracy theory.
The “critical thinking skills” that are suspect are the moonbatty believers in the born-out-of-Africa theory.
“I believe Obama’s story is correct that they were in fact married in February of 1961; and I think the most logical course of events is that the marriage occurred in Kenya where it would have been valid.”
The location of the wedding was Honolulu Hawaii, where they both were students during that semester. Nothing happened in Kenya. She was never there.

Petition Closed
A veiled threat was made against myself and my family which included our home address, so I have decided to close the petition for good. It is truly sad that political discourse in our country has come to this.
For those who signed the petition:
Thank you for your support.
For those whom I have somehow offended:
Please accept my apologies. I have nothing against Barack Obama and sincerely believe that he will do what he thinks is best for this country should he be elected.
Soros, same as ever.
If he was born in the base family hospital he was born on the base, not just in the canal zone. Which may or may not make a difference depending on the law then in effect.
Or he may have been born in his parents quarters, with someone from the hospital staff in attendance. Wouldn't be all that unusual for that era.
That latter option seems to comport with some of the things his mother is said to have related, such as hearing the celebration of his birth in the nearby O-club from her bed. But maybe the O-club was next to the family hospital?
Would the difference in parent citizen status between Obama and Goldwater make Obama different from Goldwater though?
Even if the document is correct, BHO was born in Hawaii, etc, etc. To have taken up with an African student in the 1960-61 timeframe, and get pregnant before her 18th birthday, does not show great and wonderful judgment.
They have something to hide, so they shut down the site.
We found evidence the other night posted on this thread suggesting that he may have been born before 1961.
“And dont forget Danny Pearl got beheaded doing a story on Obamas Luo Tribe. Or it was just coincidence.”
False. Danny Pearl was in Pakistan.
It is very much in the interest of the Obama campaign to keep this bogus story alive. They need this to be the level of the campaign, then they can win.
Not if he born in Hawaii, either before or after 1959, when it became a state. Since he was most likely born in 1961, it was already a state, and it wouldn't make any difference if his parents floated there on a palm tree log.
If BHO was not born in Hawaii, or any other part of the United States, then yes he parental status would make a difference, as has pretty well been hashed out here.
“Which may or may not make a difference depending on the law then in effect.”
It makes not a lick of difference. McCain is a natural born citizen no matter where he was born, via 1790 law.
So is Barack Obama btw (see other post), via 1952 and 1934 law.
It's a conclusion/opinion, with no force of law. If it comes to that, the Supreme Court, probably as currently constituted, will make that determination.
Wow!
So where is the marriage certificate/license application? That's a public record, and in most places, at least in '61, marriages, and births, were announced in the local paper. Still are in some places. Where's that record, which is independent of any action the couple/parents might take. (Except in the case of an unwed mother, whose name and the very fact of the birth might be "suppressed" to protect the privacy of the poor left in the lurch wench, not that I'm saying that applies in this case)
You're not a "naturalization at birth" type, are you?
OK. How about a citzenship statute that says all persons born with blue eyes within 100 miles east of the Yellow River are US Citizens at birth. Natural born? Any doubt that Congress has the power to enact such a statute?
The SCOTUS has referred to the Congress' power in defining citizensip (and I'm not just talking about Constitutionally enumerated naturalization powers). and...
"There is an interesting loophole here in that the Constitution does not mandate race-neutral naturalization. Until 1952, the Naturalization Acts written by Congress still allowed only white persons to become naturalized as citizens (except for two years in the 1870s which the Supreme Court declared to be a mistake)."--Naturalization, wikipedia (yeah, not a great source, but the point is there)
“To have taken up with an African student in the 1960-61 timeframe, and get pregnant before her 18th birthday, does not show great and wonderful judgment.”
Without a doubt this is questionable at any time, but that’s on the record. like any conspiracy theory, the born-out-of-Africa theory requires assessing her much harsher than as a knocked up college girl - as someone who committed fraud. What is horrendous to me is that there is no evidence for it, save for an assumption that ‘someone like her would find it easy to do it’.
Let me repeat what I said to ‘null and void’:
“I said nothing of her character good or bad, its just that the reality - that Barack Obama was born in Honolulu, is far more simple and expected than this bizarre trip-to-Africa theory that has more holes in it than swiss cheese. It would be further incredible that this amazing trip would have ZERO record in any of baracks familys mind.
Its not too hard of a rule to follow.”
It’s just very bad form to make gratuitous attacks on her character merely to feed a pet theory based on nothing but airy speculation.
