We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail!
Good morning! Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor our brave members of the Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!
Well, last night's speech was all we could have hoped for. And in a week, or two, the President will again address a joint session of Congress and the Nation.
This will be a one - two punch, and send the Dems and other critics reeling.
It's too bad it has to get so political on the eve of war, but the Corrupt Party started it with its overly aggressive attacks before the SOTU was even delivered!
So there it is: the Dems will be reeling. Excellent!

The book is at the public library. It's pretty hard to put down once you start. And very well sourced. Am I outraged over the dishonesty of the Clinton Administration? You bet! Even perjury was not beneath the President of the United States.
Iraq has a growing Christian population. Christians know the power of prayer.
"To seige, or not to seige?" When it comes to battlefield tactics and strategy, I'll leave that for the experts.

Yes, Russian is a very difficult language to learn. The irony is that my best friend's mother speaks fluent Russian, I can remember her reading the Bible in Russian during church. She is quite a well known translator here in Utah.

the hydrogen fueled car thingy another bit of strategery. He's throwing a bone to the environmentalist whackos
Funny, I don't think of myself as a e-wacko!
Fuel cell technology is a very promising field. Although http://www.homepower.com/ is a little "left" for some, it is an excellent "hands-on" source of information on the subject of alternate energy.

Wonderful posts, #419 and #427, Kay. Well said.
Miss Marple, I didn't feel like commenting this morning (same reason as Guennie) but kept Lissa and you in prayer today and am so glad to hear that all went well for her. Prayers now for her speedy recovery ...
(((Guen))), something's going to come along for your son very soon now as our prayers continue on his behalf. Romans 8:28
Purdue, such heartfelt encouragement is a wonderful blessing. Congratulations to your husband on his new position! PTL!
ABG, I thought that ALL of your strategery analysis that I've read today has been spot on and appreciated receiving your viewpoint.
UG, that's too bad about your best friend's hubby. It's good to see you here tonight. Isn't it kind of late for you to still be up though?
OneLoyalAmerican (that you are!), may I also welcome you to this fine thread. We are so grateful and appreciative of your "Honor, Respect, and Devotion to Duty". May God richly bless you and yours.

Oh, I try to be up by about 6:30 am, six short hours from now... :) Yes, I know I am burning the candle at both ends, but I did something dumb and fell asleep for a couple of hours this evening.

Welcome to the best thread on FR. Today was an exception, but usually, this is one of the 'safe havens' where people can just get together and talk peacefully.
Be forewarned though, that you should never ask about the weather or DJ's hummingbirds, never mention the contemptible people who used to pollute the White House by name, but refer to them as x42 and 97(or 'The Wicked Witch of the West Wing' my fav, or 'Ole Crusty'), always wish Bitwhacker a happy birthday in addition to whoever else is celebrating a birthday that day(if Molly finds out what your b-day is, you're tagged for life), and be ready for some serious football, or baseball(Steinbrenner is a drag queen!), talk when the season is upon us.

Do me a favor, since you're still rather awake. Check my post to OLA and see if I missed anything. Thanks. I'm feeling a bit sleepy.

This was posted on the Dose tonight ....... thought it would be appreciated by any of you who read the tail end of the thread each day.
WOW .. My dad inlaw just emailed me a copy of the President's speech from last night
And a copy of this joke .. LOL
You're walking down a deserted street with your wife and two small children. Suddenly, a dangerous looking man with a huge knife comes around the corner and is running at you while screaming obscenities. In your hand is a .357 Magnum and you are an expert shot. You have mere seconds before he reaches you and your family. What do you do?
DEMOCRAT ANSWER:
Well that's not enough information to answer the question! Does the man look poor or oppressed? Have I ever done anything to him that is inspiring him to attack? Could we run away? What does my wife think? What about the kids? Could I possibly swing the gun like a club and knock the knife out of his hand? What does the law say about this situation? Is it possible he'd be happy with just killing me? Does he definitely want to kill me or would he just be content to wound me? If I were to grab his knees and hold on, could my family get away while he was stabbing me? This is all so confusing! I need to debate this with some friends for a few days to try to come to a conclusion. I really need to feel this person's pain.
REPUBLICAN ANSWER:

Good morning, early birdies.
If you get a chance, read the thread about Dennis Miller's appearance on Leno last night. It will put a smile on your face. He went on and on about how much he likes President Bush, his policies, and even dumped on the impeached one. It was great.
