We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail!
Good morning! Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor our brave members of the Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!
Well, last night's speech was all we could have hoped for. And in a week, or two, the President will again address a joint session of Congress and the Nation.
This will be a one - two punch, and send the Dems and other critics reeling.
It's too bad it has to get so political on the eve of war, but the Corrupt Party started it with its overly aggressive attacks before the SOTU was even delivered!
So there it is: the Dems will be reeling. Excellent!

Shadow is a male lab, probably a mix because he's small. He does have a good temperament usually and the vet commented on that. Maggie is a female great pyrenees and also seems very calm most of the time. But both dogs are adoptions and that leaves a question about what they've been through and how that impacts on them now. They do seem very jealous of each other. It may take time having them look at each other on opposite sides of the fence until they start wanting to be together.
It was funny yesterday when I played fetch with Shadow which he LOVES. She tried to play, but really can't run as fast and can't get the ball very well. When she did get the ball, she ran off and kept it away from us until I caught her and took it away. It drove Shadow nuts that she did that.
He, on the other hand, would retrieve the ball and run straight for the door, trying to convince me that I should let him out of the pasture so he could go back in the house.

Oh, good morning! I'm still overwhelmed at this President of ours. Am sure that even a so-so President would look good on the heels of that lying, cheating piece of trash he followed, but DARN IT! the man is just awesome!

You have your hands full, and you're right, who knows how they've been treated in the past. Poor things. How does Maggie do with the goats?

Jim, Mrs. Mulliner is firmly in your corner on this one. She actually said she agreed with me, but emotionally she admitted she wanted Shadow to be a house dog.
Kassie, Maggie is doing pretty well with the goats. Sometimes when we go out there, right away she'll chase them a bit as if to show us that she's the boss of them goats. I can't help but laugh at her.

Morning all! I have been so busy since Sunday that I have not had time to sit down, never mind write anything. I am leaving this afternoon w/Mr. DJ88 to go to Amelia Island for 5 blessed days of PEACE AND QUIET. So, I just wanted to share a few things with you all and let you know that I am still around and breathing!
1. I am absolutely thrilled that my Bucs won the Superbowl! I am still in shock....I still can't get my jaw off the floor. Not only was it a great game, it was absolutely unbelievable how they won that game. Tampa Bay is now being called: "Chuckyville".
Although Malcolm Glazier deserves a lot of credit for getting Jon Gruden to Tampa Bay, he's still such a little elf-like dork. A cute dork, but definitely a dork. Someone needs to teach him how to say something more than "Go Bucs! Go Bucs! Go Bucs!" We learned that years ago. He would (and we would) benefit tremendously if he read the book Speaking in Public for Dummies.
2. We sold our house, I fired my agent, I hired a lawyer (real estate) and she is never to speak to me again or else she will lose her real estate license. I suppose she missed that class where they talk about what you should not do as a realtor, or face FREC (Florida Real Estate Commission): 1. Never, never ever intimate that your boss and your client's buyer had some type of "love affair" in the past.
2. Never slander your client's buyer's name, especially if it's another real estate attorney.
3. Don't call the person who bought your client's house names.
4. When you are told not to have anymore contact whatsoever with you ex-client, don't email them.
5. Never underestimate the force of DJ88's Hummingbird Squadron.
The President's State of the Union's speech was great last night. Juan Williams made my jaw drop (again) by saying that he was touched by the President's so-called "humane side". Where has he been for the last two years??????
Ted Kennedy made the remark after the State of the Union address that President Bush needs to address the American people why we would go to war with Iraq, not Congress. HUH? If that wasn't stupid enough for us, he came out with another humdinger this morning when he said that the President needs to tell Congress why we need to go to War with Iraq. HUH? In less than 12 hours, he was able to prove to the world that he is even more of an idiot today than he was yesterday at 8:59:03PM.
Did someone drag Hillary around the Beltway before she got there? She looked like she just woken up. Well....hm. They say vampires sleep during the day....
Well, I gotta go pack some stuff but I'll try to get on before I leave. I miss you all....:-)

More on "that woman." (Forgive me if I seem bitter.)
It sure seems to me that she was setting me up for a fall. I couldn't help feeling that she didn't want me around, as if I was a threat to her somehow. I guess it was because the director in Nashville seemed to be courting me so much, doing all he could to bring me on board despite their financial woes. She may have felt jealous.

i think after the speech last night sdh might want to consider exile....the speech reminded me of the part in the overture of 1812, about 3/4 through, when in the background you hear the "da da da dada di di da dad dah...." which is the first hint of the soldiers approaching. Soon you hear the big guns and the bells. Will be hard to put 800 + cruise missles into the symphony.
one question is what about the idiot reporters in BigDad? (not all idiots, but mostly, with their idiotic reports of how the man on the street feels...) I favor taking them out in the first strike if they refuse to leave the country. in a time of war they should not be allowed to report from the enemy camp. Don't most ya agree? sdh will try to keep his pals in CNN there for propaganda purposes...
see, i wake up a peacemonger and after more rest turn into a warlover....

Did someone drag Hillary around the Beltway before she got there? Actually she has that "dragged" look down quite well. I think she is trying to convey to the little people she stays up late doing the little people work for them. When truthfully she's following Bill all over. At least she seems to have left her "shopping bag" home last night.

You are probably correct. Again, I don't think you need the trouble in your life, do you? I'm all for trying to cooperate and work with someone, but the older I get the more I see the folly in that approach with some people!
To: Neets
Neets, too cute! A St Bernard looking otu of the sunroof? LOL!!
To: gulfcoast6
this is the problem gulfcoast: based on your emotional (in my view) analysis of forgeign policy, if we were to follow it, our nation should invade AT LEAST HALF of the member nations of the UN, and probably more. There are people being killed every single day in sudan, Zimbabwe, Nigeria China, NK, Syria, Algeria, Cuba, and a whole host of friendly to the West pseudo democracies in Africa and some in Latin America routinely torture people w/o trial. Thanks God to REagan, the situation is way better in some of these countries than it used to, but we have NO RIGHT TO invade Iraq if all he is doing is killing his own people? ONly if he and his weapons are a real, verified threat to the US do WE have the right.....

Then I would expect, and WE the PEOPLE are OWED the proof of that AQ/Iraq connection. NONE of the founding fathers trusted human nature and we have grown accustomed to justifying police-state type secrecy by OUR govt. for too long that we forget how free the air used to be in the USA. We are sometimes "slaves" to the intelligence community.
These are the same people who keep covering up that Muslims took out flight 800 over Long Island and who dropped the ball on 9-11. Now we are told to shup up and trust them, lock and load and worry about the evidence later?

Sir, excile him to hell, along with his fellow killers. It is laughable that he hasn't supplied monies (Hamas homicide bombers come to mind) and/or weapons to AQ and other terrorist and sure, he said he has not. Question is who does one believe, SayDamn or OUR President. I have no problem of who to believe.

I can see how my comment to Mullinger who be seen as insulting, but have no fear, it was not one ounce of insult. He'll vouche for that. If I want to insult him I'll send him an email on his regular account!

From what I hear. there is plenty of evidence, but President Bush doesn't want to show Saddam in advance where we'll strike. And you can bet that some of the evidence is the first place some of those bombs are going to be landing. Why allow Saddam a chance to move his arsenal before we strike?
