More on "that woman." (Forgive me if I seem bitter.)
It sure seems to me that she was setting me up for a fall. I couldn't help feeling that she didn't want me around, as if I was a threat to her somehow. I guess it was because the director in Nashville seemed to be courting me so much, doing all he could to bring me on board despite their financial woes. She may have felt jealous.

You are probably correct. Again, I don't think you need the trouble in your life, do you? I'm all for trying to cooperate and work with someone, but the older I get the more I see the folly in that approach with some people!
