AMERICA- The Right Way!! (Day 739) [Remember the Trade Center!!]
All of Us | January 29, 2003A | Freepers and Various News Sources

Posted on 01/29/2003 2:30:52 AM PST by Molly Pitcher

We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail!

Good morning! Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor our brave members of the Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!

Well, last night's speech was all we could have hoped for. And in a week, or two, the President will again address a joint session of Congress and the Nation.

This will be a one - two punch, and send the Dems and other critics reeling.

It's too bad it has to get so political on the eve of war, but the Corrupt Party started it with its overly aggressive attacks before the SOTU was even delivered!

So there it is: the Dems will be reeling. Excellent!

I didn't take that as an insult. I took it as LB's bad spelling.

I knew this would happen one day. I've listened to these arguments for months and know how LB thinks on this issue. We're at an impasse (if that's the word and spelling I want).

As I've said before, you don't have 4 sons (3 in Scouts, a good indicator for future military service) whose brains may get blown away in any military action.

I've wanted to respond to this fact you've brought up a few times. It sounds to me like you are either apologizing for basing your arguments on your emotions because you have more to fear with four sons. Either that or you are saying that I don't have enough emotion involved because I have no sons.

I think a good decision about whether or not to go to war should have NOTHING to do with how many children one has and what gender they are. If there are good arguments for going to war, then that's the right decision even if one has 10 sons, all in military service. If there is not a good reason to go to war, then having no possibility of the loss of loved ones is no virtue in arguing for war.

Juan said that President Bush came across as a real "human being." I thought to myself....Huh?????? He was sincere saying that he was convinced the President really cared. He's rather late to the party, I know, but it was fun watching his "lights" go on. I suppose someone will change his mind today at NPR.......

If it's suddenly announced that Juan is "on vacation", you can bet he was sent away for reeducation and reindoctrination at some hospital for liberals who stray from the plantation.

I NEVER watch the network morning shows, but today I thought I'd check them out and see what they were saying. Typical hit pieces. Daschle was on at least two shows. And, of course, they were lining up Norman Schwartzkopf because he was apparently not on board with the president.

The media has a pecking order for guests. Many people think that Democrats are at the top of their list of desirable guests. But number one on their list are dissenting Republicans. They will always get top billing on talk shows on the networks.

Can you imagine what state our country would be in today if all mothers and fathers who had sons off fighting for our freedom could not support that fight???

Better late than not at all.

What about Susan Sarandon's commercial. Did it air? I had FOX on earlier and the title said Susan Saranwrap. But tv is muted, so I have no idea what they said. :(

Did anyone see the commercial?
