A homeless man allegedly trying to start a fire with a blowtorch was tackled and zip-tied by furious Los Angeles locals carrying out a citizens' arrest.
Locals claim the man was riding a bicycle around the Woodland Hills neighborhood on Thursday afternoon and carrying a large 'propane tank or a flamethrower'.
Community members claim they surrounded the man, brought him to the ground, and tied him up with zip ties after they allegedly saw him trying to set fire to an object behind a vehicle.
One local said the man was 'very focused on moving forward with the blow torch', telling FOX 11 the suspect said: 'I can't stop. I can't stop. I'm not putting this down. I'm doing this.'
Police were called to the 21700 block of Ybarra Road in Woodland Hills around 4.30pm, after the man was stopped by locals.
Local Renata Grinshpun recalled how the community 'really banded together as a group'. She told KTLA: 'A few gentlemen surrounded him and got him on his knees. They got some zip ties, a rope and we were able to do a citizens' arrest.'
LAPD has confirmed the cause of the unruly Kenneth Fire, which erupted late Thursday afternoon in the San Fernando Valley and is rapidly tearing through the West Hills, is being investigated as a crime.
Authorities have one suspect in custody who is believed to have intentionally started a fire, but have confirmed the person's identity. It is currently unclear whether the man detained by Woodland Hills locals was found to have any connection to the wildfires or if he has been formally charged.

As we know, guilt or innocence is determined by relative light reflectivity.
Thanks to decades of anti-white racism in hiring and with welfare.

one of the claims is that he was just trying to light his weed. He did appear to have something looking like a joint in his hand
Near as I can tell Texans don’t pack concealed zip ties.
My first thought was that this is Antifa trying to bring down the USA. If it is, they need to be held accountable en masse.
So, are we looking at the cold dead hand of a false prophet acting through this man? Or by Marx inspired teachers to express his grudge at anyone with more possessions than him? Marjuana or bath salt induced schitzophrenia? MK Ultra training? Whatever else it was, this act of arson was a true attempt to create local man made warming and climate change.
I’m seriously wondering if all of these CA fires were started by arsonists.

His actions are understandable. All you need do is to watch a few hours of Doorbell News on Youtube to see just how many mentally ill people are out there daily - everywhere. Much of it is drug-fueled and those who can’t get the drugs are so far gone mentally it’s crazy.
I question if he’s mentally ill or drugged.
He looks like his name could be Mohammed. And he may belong to a cell that’s been gearing up for this version of terrorism for quite some time.
The police should have left him zip tied and vacated the area leaving his disposition to the public at large (who were burnt out.)
That’s actual justice.
As with the 1906 San Francisco earthquake...summarily execute the perps at the site, with cameras rolling!
Such compassion.
The first Tri-county fire in Texas was likely caused by dumping charcoal from a Memorial Day cookout on a Sunday afternoon. We know where it started down to the lot but nobody was ever charged. It burned 22,000 acres and many subdivisions. Toward the end of that fire arsonists were caught trying to start other fires. We never knew who they were either. Nobody was ever punished.
How 'bout homacide? Of course Biden might award him the 'citizenship medal"? Better contact Cardinal McEvolvi or Pope Francis to insure his safety.
It’s time to end the “right” to live on the streets. People should either be living voluntarily in shelters or committed to an institution somewhere.
They mention that they used rope to tie him up. Maybe just use a loop around the neck?
