In the past couple of years I have noticed there is a complete lake of regard for other posters on this site. Not only that but swearing seems to be tolerated. In the past day I have been called gay, a lair, that I am talking out of my *** and I am full of ****. Do we even have to go into the fighting on any thread about Ukraine or Russia. Even hard facts from multiple sources no longer seem to matter. Instead it is whoever can come up with the snarkiest reply.
I agree, it has gotten bad. I try not to attack people personally, but people attack me personally a lot. In case people don’t know, personal attacks just show you have no rational argument.
I fully concur šš», can we get a second?

There are many leftists who created accounts way back in the 90s who use those accounts to troll conservatives. JimRob used to have them zotted very quickly once their intentions were clear, but that has not been the case over the past year or so. I’m sure his ill health has something to do with that since he has not been able to stay on top of things as much as he did years ago.
Of course, we also have the recently created accounts who are here just to create division. The anti-Trump self-proclaimed LLR’s are the worst.
The best thing to do with repeated offenders is to hit the abuse button and then ignore them. Hopefully, they will eventually get banned.
I believe this site is supposed to be for “like-minded” people. If they aren’t a conservative they should go elsewhere for their daily dose of TDS.

About 15 or 20 years ago or maybe even longer than that I met HG in person. I was flabbergasted at how warm and friendly he was with a terrific sense of humor. When he always came to FR that half of him was gone. I never understood that about him but there are other unknowns about him which should not be mentioned here. Maybe if you FReepmail him he would respond but I do not think that he will.

Have we really? Seems to me that small-government Reaganism has been displaced by big-spending populism. From where I'm sitting, that's a move to the left.

You must have started watching “All in the Family” several years after it originally started. I had recorded the original version of that song with Archie singing and Dingbat playing the piano. However, in 1993 we had a house fire and the VHS tape recording was destroyed.
